I just finished about a 6000 mile tour on my 07 Uly and it's been a great bike, no hiccups and it never complained once! I was using the stocker seat and it just makes me sore from sitting so far forward even with a sheepskin so I was wondering if anyone out there had a Corbin they'd like to sell? Any opinions on mufflers out there? I'd like to hear it more and don't really need more performance out of the bike. I just don't want to lose the excellent fuel economy I've been getting with the stock muff. |

Muffler shouldn't affect fuel economy. Or at least any real measureable amount. You loose most of the FE by tuning the bike and making it richer for more power. That said, i got about the same MPG with stock and with Race ECM and Pipe. |

A no-cost mod is to wire the exhaust valve open. It makes for a nice sound with no significant impact on fuel economy. There are several threads on that topic if you search. |

Excellent, thanks for the info. I was under the illusion that it would effect the excellent fuel economy. Thanks! |
