The small rear fender? I don't think I've ever seen a picture of one paint matched, and I was thinking of doing it to my yellow XB9. Just wondering. I've seen other bikes with a painted rear fender and I like that it brought some color to the back of the bike, but not too much. Thanks |

ive seen them painted. pretty sure there are pics on here somewhere. im not real fond of painting that or the belt guards and such. why paint something you dont want to draw attention to. i mean, why would you want to draw attention to it. they arent that exciting even when painted. they are just a random painted piece then. |

Forgive this horrible attempt, a laptop with only paint is all I have to work with.

I actually like, it does bring some color to the back of the bike. No_Rice - Its no more a random painted peice than the chin spoiler. But everyone has thier likes and dislikes. |

I painted mine with some gray flex paint. then put on a coat of frame paint. also did the same thing with the chin spoiler. but that was because it was scratched up from going down at MBV. |

How 'bout a Buell Pegasus rear fender, where the blue stripes are, I cut out and painted that area silver.
I then pulled the white tape and left the silver between "feathers". I also trimmed the rear edge to match the "feathers" I need to get a final picture... |

I just got the parts back from the paint shop this after. Here's a quick picture. I haven't even put on the decals yet. That's next week.
