S2 is running on both cylinders. Remember solder all connections crimps can fail. I think I just moved to the high hp side of the debate on where Buell should be heading for their future bikes. Handling may be cool but ponies pump up the juices. It would be nice to have dyno charts and all but Jack and Donnie seem to have built a wild one. We will know for sure on the 20th. Hard to believe its only a week away. Best of luck to every one racing and see yall thursday. Paul |

the WLA is DONE. We will do a final-final shake down on Sat.,take Sunday off to rest and watch football (and go to a vintage bike swap meet... oooohhhh, rusty bike parts... YUM), and then start packing on Monday. Cant wait to see everyone. FMJ, where did you come up with a 350cc Sidecar? You been holding out on me in the funky-weird motorcycle dept. ? If time and space permit, I may bring an "extra" bike along to run in the 130 Club. Hell, it might even be a Buell. |

Well ,it looks like my Shoei helmet sponsor deal fell through. Will find out in the morning. And of course my almost new helmet is not Snell 2000.Anyone bringing a large helmet I can pass tech with? Chop,I was building a CB-350F 4cyl for the kid.But it wasn't cool enough,so I did not kill myself finishing it.Had bike and motor together, fired it up, and sidecar was in the works, but did not finish.I probably couldn't have and gone to Aaron's so--maybe next year. And yes, thanks for the idea.Any luck with Avon tires? |

Court, We will be catering to Dave Despain and crew, right? Anything I can do let me know. I'll be busy taking stills and short MPEG's, but will otherwise be free to help. Remember, I'm not the most diplomatic person in the world. |

No. They are responsible for their own food. We will HOWEVER, be KISSING UP BIGTIME. Here's the plan. . . you go to where we don't want him to linger (Scotty Parker's pits) and keep winking at him. . . he'll flee to the Team Elves pits when he sees a 6'4" Texan making google eyes at him. If that fails, I shall employee my international options and press Rocket Back in America into service! Court |

Rocket, Peter. Paul and Grizz - the honour of us yoorypeeans (well most of you ozzies came from here too!) is riding on your shoulders - give those yankee-boys a good time and use plenty of four letter words, words like....'more, more even more, beer, gals, salt'.........and make sure Rocket earns EVERY cent of that ticket we got him...make sure his four letter words are 'work work more damn hard work'........but throw in the odd 'beer' for him just sos he feels we care.......have a good time y'all and break us a few records please? |

Jim bring that camera again and we'll see if we can improve upon those shots As I type, Aaron is on the dyno with Rays Blast. Paul (Oz) and Henrik are helping Susan in the kitchen preping some huge barbie (not the doll you fools, otherwise I'd be helping too). The beers are flowing and everyone is in great spirits. Oh yeah, Grizz is 'sporting' some lycra number too, in preperation for Saturdays cabaret (drag) act I believe !!!! Disgusting sight More later.............. Rocket |

Sean, I was sort'a worried that you wouldn't make it this year (according to Pete). I was gon'na ask for my greenbacks back if you didn't show up ... (just kidding of course). I haven't been on the BBS in about 6 months cuz' I'm working out'a state. I'm not up with all the current events. Looks like we're going to have an outstanding turn out this year. Can't wait to get there and see everyone again. Wish I was up at Aarons and Susans right now. Sounds like just as much fun as Bonneville. Catch ya in a few days, -JW:> |

Jim, you don't wanna be at Aaron and Susans right now. At 4.30 in the morn' there seems to be some kind of Elf behaviour going on !! No one can get any fookin' sleep about these parts Mad Oz fella, Paul 'Barbie' Rogers (apparently), in bright white underpants running around the front lawn. Gillian, the Dutch fashion model , making coffee in his Calvin Kleins, and God only knows what Griz and Pete are upto in the basement, in their double sleeping bag ! Henriks bedded in the corner of Aaron and Susans lounge, making strange rustling noises inside his sleeping bag ! Me ? Ah well, I keep getting the blame for waking up the household. Nuthin new about that then Rocket |

Jim, It took awhile, but he finally decided he could make it over here. Naturally he had his "Heavy Duty Mother F---er" t'shirt on, so I tried to avoid him through customs. I needed have worried though, they let Rocket through and pulled me over because the steering damper I brought for Aaron's M2 looked remarkably like a weapon on the xray machine......... We're having a good time here. Paul and Rocket have made a good team keeping the rest of us entertained! See you in a few days. PPiA |

Peter: I am living in a city with snipers on the bridges, at the tunnels....HumVees and bumper to bumper dump truck full of sand surrounding public buildings and Coast Guard ships with attended .50 Cal machine guns lingering in the river.... Why do I feel safer here than I suspect you do in Berthoud? Court P.S. - Anyone sighted Jim Higgins yet? Keep us posted on his safe arrival and see if Henrik can get the pictres of Jim's bike onto his www.teamelves.com profile. |

Jim arrived about an hour ago. Crim and Dale etc from the Sportster List arrived a little after. The dyno is running as I type, so it's party time here. Rocket has found his mission in life. He's mowing the lawn.... Aaron is Aaron. Focused on the Blast sidecar at the moment. I think you could tell him that his house had just fallen down and you'd only get a "Huh? I think I'll change the cams and see how much more we can get........." I'll let paul know. Oh, can you put an XL t'shirt aside for me please so I can swap it for my XXL? I've lost weight and it's bloody huge! PPiA |
