Ok I have a 1998 S3T with about 27k on it, just recently it started running rough then the rear cylinder stopped firing all together. I have replaced the plugs, plug wires and the coil, but still not getting combustion in the rear cylinder! Should I go ahead and replace the ignition module or is there something else I should do? |

Pull the spark plugs and do a compression check on both cylinders. The readings should be approximately the same for both jugs. If the compression check is OK, then test for spark at both plugs while the spark plugs are removed and grounded against the engine. There should be the equal amount of spark from both plugs. |

Ok discovered it wasn't electrical at all, was the manifold intake seals! |
