Just wanted to let everybody know about a promotion that Buell is offering if you purchase a new 2008 1125R. If you purchase a new untitled 1125R between July 1st and August 31st, they are offering $675.00 to be used towards Buell merchandise. I bought mine on July 25th and I talked to my dealer and they are going to give me a dealer gift card for the amount. I thought it was kinda cool that they backdated the purchase date. Usually, I always miss the dates on these things. I just saw it posted on the Buell website this past weekend so its fairly new. |

Stewadi...I don't know how many times I gave my wife "that look" when she came home with a ton of stuff because it was on sale. And here I go and drop 12 grand..."but honey, they gave me 675 worth of goods!" God bless America! |

My dealer doesn't have $675 in total inventory of Buell merchandise. |

My dealer doesn't have $675 in total inventory of Buell merchandise. The dealer closest to me is the same way. Luckily I have another dealer a few miles further away that although they're not up to par with a Liberty or the like, but they do seem to be trying and putting forth a true effort. Good inventory of bike and apparel. |

The largest motorcycle dealer in this city is, of course, a HD dealer (oh, and Buell too), but when I asked the parts dept about Buell parts he thought for a moment, and replied "We've never even had a Buell catalog since we opened". They're about to celebrate their second year in business. |

"My dealer doesn't have $675 in total inventory of Buell merchandise." Funny and sad at the same time. Mine does, but only because he has been sitting on the same Vanson/Buell leather jackets for the last 2+ years. |

Are they the Vanson that say Buell on both arms (cool) or only one arm (just plain stupid)? If they have the "cool" ones and have had them a while, they might let them go for cheap? I'd be very interested if so... |

If anybody's in the Austin Tx. area and wants a 25r there's a dealer lettin' them go for $9995. Add the $675 for gear and that's a smokin deal. |

Does the dealer make any money at a $10K? When the next gen 25r comes out in a year or two, I might have to hold off and look for the dealer trying to reduce inventory via a fire sale--IF I can show some restraint for once. |

My dealer doesn't have $675 in total inventory of Buell merchandise. I was in the same boat, more or less. Except for me, Buell doesn't MAKE $675 worth of stuff that I'd want and didn't already have. I likely would have stocked up on oil change stuff and maybe grabbed a t-shirt or two. I decided it wasn't a value-adder for me and put a deposit on an '09. |

The promotion is not just for merchandise, you can get parts as well...maybe enough service items for life like oil filters, air filters, spare levers etc.

Biker Bob's in Taylor, Michigan honored my friend's prior purchase of an 1125R with this offer. They are selling their last 1125R for $12,250 out the door. I really appreciate the fact that they honored this deal on a prior sale. |

Does the 675 include exhaust? Just wondering if any one knows. That would be nice especially since the new Jardine can is only 499.00 Jimmy |

I am sure it is only for genuine Buell parts, accessories or merchandise, thats a good deal in itself. I don't believe a dealer would apply the offer to aftermarket item's. |

That's nice, those of us that didn't need to be bought to buy the bike don't get squat! They should reward those of us who bought them without being talked into it without waving money in our faces! |

I hear ya. Doesn't seem fair, but really that is how most everything works. Does your cable company or cell phone provider give current customers the deals? Nope. I think I would be more than tickled with continued support/updates for my '08. |

OH my goodness you all whine so much, if you had not just jumped on one then you would have got the same deal. Now they are trying to get rid of the 08s and are offering an incentive. If they had jumped the interest rates up from 5.9% to 11% you would not be whining about wanting that. Here sell your 1125 and then go buy another one so you can get the 675. Geez people!!!!!!!! |

But this is the first time a vehicle mfg has EVER offered incentives to buy remaining inventory at model year change! |
