I have a 03 xb9r whith drummer,race ecm and kn with 12 box runs good down low and great after 4800 but at 4000 to 4800 it seems to have flat spot any info would help |

The Race ECM is tuned for the Buell Race Pipe. The fix is a custom mapped ECM for a Drummer. |

If you look at the exhaust shootout from American Sport Bike you'll notice all stock based exhausts have a similar flatspot there. |

Yep. Pretty normal. I'm actually running the identical setup. I switched from the race pipe to the drummer and am very satisfied. The kit had a larger 'hole' at 4 grand. |

Same problem with an open Remus race pipe. Solution keep it between 5000 and the rev limiter. Don't expect to keep your licence too long though. |

Special Ops pipe has the same symptom. American sport bike has a map for your setup. |
