Looking for a project Buell,either a xb or a tuber.Prefer a lightning but open to all.Must be in the SW.Bike must have clean paperwork.Would like non running as opposed to crashed.Please be at least 95% complete. Cash in fist.I am in SoCal and dont mind driving a few hundred miles for the right bike. | ||

I have a 2005 Lightning CG that I am actually hoping to trade or trade-in, but open to selling...just depends on what I can get, I guess. Would you be interested? It is a running bike though...got a custom paint job, bar end mirrors, frame pucks (left one is a little loose though), D&D exhaust and maybe one or two more things. It does not have rear turn signals, the stock tail is missing the cheese grater...it needs a horn...has got scratch on the right side swingarm, and some on the left side frame near the puck (the right seems to have been from being laid down by a previous owner, the left side scratches look like they were from something else, not being laid down), and it's got a dent in the header pipe on the right side, a little under 1.5" long. It seems to be in good running condition, with some fixer-uppers here and there. | ||

I am really looking for a bike with a blown/non running engine etc, to rebuild /restore for a project.I restore vintage racebikes and want to build something different for a change.I figured another Buell to keep my Firebolt company<g> Send or post some pics of your lightning,and get me some contact info. |
