I'm right behind Dr. Greg. My Uly's odometer rolled over 50,000 miles last week. No real complaints or squawks- just hoping to get at least another 50k before deciding to refurbish or replace. It's still the coolest, most capable bike I've ever owned or heard of. Heres hoping the permagrin lasts a loooooong time! |

Just in time Paul! It's been a bit "doom and gloom" around here lately. Congratulations! |

Congtrats! I have 30,000 now and it runs stronger and smoother than ever. Have you been noticing the same at 50,000? |

I'll be doing my 30,000 mile service before I head to the WV Buell Rally. |

Turned 33,000 miles on this weekend's trip to cut the grass on the mountain. The bike runs like always, great. |

Thanks Paul - the silent majority need to stick up for Ulydom in these troubled times....... I suspect that regular riding (and I assume that you do that to have reached 50K) is half the battle with getting good miles out of any bike. I'm just over 38,000 miles (61,500km) and just had a wonderful ride home from work - what a great bike. |

Turned 42,000 miles on mine. Going to need a new fan soon. At $72.00, I not going to cry about it. Overall, the bike has been rock solid. I do change parts before they become problems. But not obsessively. I look for the local shop to have it's 20% off sale and buy oil, filters, drive belt, plugs. When it's time to change, I usually have the parts "in stock" in my garage. My method seems to be working, with no road side breakdowns. |

Just turned 7,000 on the 2008 (11 months old) and no real complaints. Broke it in right, pulls strong, burns little if any oil. Other than a horrible service story it's been a GREAT! bike. Never has it left me stranded. Will be hitting 10,000 soon. --- 08Uly Uly Data Page (Message edited by 08uly on August 05, 2008) |

Ok, I'm a ways behind you guys; my 06 has 10k on it now and no problems. It had 4500 on it when I bought it at the beginning of the year. Best bike I've ever had-but I am going to do the 08 triple clamp mod because I hit the stops too often at low speed. |

Its nice to hear good things about a Buell. I have a 08 XT and have had a host of issues all under 1k miles and have been a bit discouraged. I have a trip to Billings, MT next week and i have less then 100% faith that the bike will get me there without issue. I regret ever letting the 06 go.. |

I'm right behind Dr. Greg. You'll probably pass me pretty soon (as will some others). Although I've got three camping trips planned for this fall. Glad others are enjoying the miles on their Ulys. I want to keep this bike forever. |

Sounds like I need to ride more. 15k miles in 2 years, and still rolling. I ride to work almost every day, 30 miles each way... Admittedly, I drive the truck on occasion... 1 wheel bearing 1 new ecm new gaskets (turned out to be the ecm) That's about it... cost to me? 0$ |

Looks like I got some catching up to do... I bought my Ulysses XT on February 23rd, and by this weekend it should be ready for the 10K service. But then again, the first 'season' (~5 months of riding season in Wisconsin, based on when I bought it) I owned my 1995 S2 I turned 10,000 miles. The XT will have taken me about 6 months. It took me about 10 years to turn 100K on the S2 (primarily due to having other bikes to ride...), 1313 |

Bought my '08 XT May 18th, 4600 miles thus far. Leaving today for a 2500+ mile trip up through New England, Canada, and UpState New York. The only problem I am having with mine is the front brake is pulsing. I've tried Scotchbriting the rotor, which helped some. I'll deal with it when I get back. |
