Painters tape, yes. It comes off much easier and leaves no residue. |

I guess I should put this to a larger audience... How utilitarian is a Uly XT (even though it's been converted into a XT-BOLT)?
At least it ended on a HIGH note...

You know if you bought the fridge from Lowes or Sears, they would deliver it AND haul away the old one |

1313, how far did you ride like that?!? I ride with large packages that nobody I know would but that tops anything I have done. |

I'd hate to see that box dancing in the wind over say 15mph. Would have been more stable laying across the seat and boxes with tie down straps criss crossed over to secure it as low and firm as possible. Of course for an expert opinion you'd need to get on an asian scooter/moped board and get advice from the people who haul chickens, tires and all sorts of stuff regularly. |

You know if you bought the fridge from Lowes or Sears, they would deliver it AND haul away the old one But I wanted one filled with beer when it got here, so that was the only possible option. how far did you ride like that?!? Less than 5 miles to the UPS Store. Max speed was probably 55 (a shade over the highest posted 45...). Would have been more stable laying across the seat and boxes with tie down straps criss crossed over to secure it as low and firm as possible. I did that a couple of months ago with a heavier suitcase that wasn't quite as long as the one above is tall. The big problem (for the ~ 20 miles that one had to go) was that I could only see about 1/2 out of each mirror. When I turned my head to check traffic all I could see was the darn cardboard box. Not very safe for visibility - other than motorists seeing that big cardboard box coming down the highway.

Here's a couple pictures of the '98 S3T I just added to the collection. Had to do a little modding to get the right fairing lower to mount up because of the race header and carbon fiber air cleaner.

Nice lawn (and bikes BTW) It hasn't rained here in years - my yard looks like a gravel pit, at least I don't have to mow it anymore |

I just got done cutting it right before the pictures. Almost needed a hay bailer to cut it... and it was just cut the week before!! All the rain and humidity up here has made it grow really fast. |
