I don't know how much of a rush you are in but I have a new one in box... I got a recall tank and never put it on because I use a small tank... I am in the middle of deciding if I will sell the bike. The guy who wants it wants the carbon bodywork with black tank.. so I might have a full set of Orange S1W bodywork... I will keep up with you about it as it unfolds. |

I would be interested where (what dealer) I could order it for $450 ..... I never got any recalls done on my bike it is basically still new! I wonder if I can still get the recalls performed????? |

I am having a hard time even thinking about selling the bike... I have someone who likes and wants it but has to do some creative financing as it is well above the book value as the Banks see it. It is hard to price a Buell these days especially when it has more money in a motor than most bikes cost:-) It is sad these days to see what Tubers sell for. I will not give my 130hp Buell away for nothing. We will see. |

Rob, Any Buell dealer should be able to tell you what recalls were done on your bike by your VIN #. I don't think that they expire or at least that is the impression that I got when checking on the status of mine. |

I, too, have been trying to locate an Orange/Blue S1W tank. There was pretty good one on ebay this past week. I had spoken to Court about getting a new one, but he never got back to me. IF you buy one from a dealer, it WILL NOT be like your original. It will have the later style raised-letter emblems, not the decals. I've been hunting for a decal-style tank, and waiting on Court. |

I have had my bike in heated storage since new and haven't rode it the past couple years just been riding my Harley!! Every since the decals started bubbling on the tank I quit riding it and the bike sits in storage!! I wan't to start riding it again....I don't like people pointing out the decals!!! bums me out!!! and I am happy to never had any of the updates done!! my bike has never been back to the dealer since the day I bought it NEW!!! |

"I am happy to never had any of the updates done!! my bike has never been back to the dealer since the day I bought it NEW!!!" It would be a shame to start riding it and have some recalled part fail and end up trashing your bike or hurting you, though... |
