Jeff,i thought i saw you heading east on Sutton rd. Sue came along on the Xb and we made Carl's at 9a. Whooooo, boooyyy! Them afterward we headed out of Carl's doing the loop we all did previously.Jeff, remember that right turn in Ashford? Well...that's where Susie lost ALL clutch disengagement. We pulled over and i thought it'd be an easy adjustment behind the access cover. You know the adjustment on the throwout bearing? Well,my primary cover is broken. I've seen this maladie posted before too. Couldn't get ANY clutch.Susie was on the verge of crying.I refused to go home and get my truck to piggy back the XB. So,with much reluctance,(and Susie going into the woods to prevent crapping her pants)she mounted the 996 and once she snicked 2nd she was ear to ear. I,however, rode all the way home with NO clutch. A few stoplights required dis mounting and running along side and jumping on and jamming 1st. Now for disassembly. But i'm certain the primary(where the cable pivots) is broken.$235 for a new one,i hope it's superceded with a better part. |

Hey Eric, what country are you in? Are you escorted by "Blackwater"? Did they kill any terrorists? |

Baghdad,Iraq..... Have not got my Blackhawk Ride yet, but have been assured I will...Schweeeeeeet!!! I am sure they have taken a few out, but I have not seen it personally...Yet unfortunately, But I have seen some cool sh!t all ready. Flew in some cool planes. Flew in last night in total "Lights out" for safety reasons, Not a single light on, NOTHING! except the cockpit panel lights and such. Very COOL!(for me any ways) I find this trip to be an adventure for sure, I have never been outside the states, no better place to burst a cherry I guess. |

Making a lot of money for that new 1125R? I've heard working out there is lucrative and TAX-FREE?? Earlier i meant "Blackwater" the crazy security people. But getting a "Blackhawk" ride would be crazy fun,i hope you get to enjoy it. Take care and be safe my friend. |

Don't get super excited about a ride with blackwater. Most of the time the are escorting people that are high targets and it wouldn't be fun if a convoy got hit. One of my best friends worked for blackwater for one year in Iraq and it isn't anything you want to be around to long. I have been on rides with them and they were more fun to me when they were over. Eric, take lots of pictures. That the one thing I regret doing when I traveled was not getting enough pics. |

I was looking for something a little quieter than the Jardine. It was still a bit to loud. It's gotta ride with ear plugs loud. I just bough a used race can. After hearing your's Jeff I know it will fit the bill perfect. Not to loud, not to quiet. Maybe after installing the race pipe my neighbor won't call the police any more. All it takes is on a-hole neighbor to ruin the fun. Is anyone riding in the morning?? |

Hopefully Scotty will chime and and not use tires as an excuse. I think I would have rather worn out tires than the shady stock dunlops that have been on my bike for 5 years. |

Some one who know's some good roads needs to play team captain while Greg is out. I'd get lost in my own back yard if I didn't leave a trail of beer bottle caps to find my way home. |

I'm in for tomorrow. 8:30 am at Lowell's. I'll volunteer for Captain unless somebody else shows up. I don't know as many good roads as Greg but I'm not afraid to go looking for them and stumble a bit on the way. My cell is in the RAN (...320....) call if you're lost or running late. Shawn - for your driver...don't open ECM spy...just open the folder where you installed the cable driver, connect the cable and turn the key and kill switch to on then run the install program...that's the only way to have the computer recognize the cable...it has to have a signal from somewhere...once that is done then open ECM spy and follow Scotty's instructions on searching for the com port. Scotty - don't let tires keep you home if you can't see the steel belt yet. I'll be able to help any night this week for the tire change except for Wed & Thur night. See whoever shows up tomorrow morning! |

I'll be there JP. I'd hate to have to see you eat breakfast alone. Looks like todays weather could be hit or miss depending where you are. |
