Okay so I like the look of the gold rims/wheels that the XB's run,you know the ones on the Lightnings and such, but can anybody tell me why when you look them up in the spares book, they say "Not suitable for XB12X"why the hell not!,would love to know cause I'm really keen of getting either a gold set or black for my Ugly Sister. Cheers Phil |

The gold ones are "road use" only, because they are lighter. The Uly wheels are a little more heavy-duty for "off-road" usage.. PM Fat Bstrd- he has a set on his Uly. |

I wonder if the XT wheel is the same as the Uly? NUTS No; it's the regular "Road" wheel. (Message edited by Crusty on August 02, 2008) |

I too have the ambers on my Uly, no issues. They look great and work awesome. I truly feel it accelerates harder with the lighter wheels too. Put them on if you have no intention or dirting it........ Bruce |

The XT wheel is the same as all of the other XB's. The original Uly wheel is thicker for its off road capability role. The regular XB wheels will fit as they are the same size all around except the thickness. |

Thanks guys, looks like i will end up having to save for them as I guess they'll be as dear as poison here, for some unknown reason we get charged a premium down here to buy stuff like that. |

I'm with you Aussiebox, here in the Netherlands those rims would cost 506,- Euro's each. While I see them for 336,- US Dollars each,on the buell site. |

yeah gotta agree with ya Galloper, why everybody outside of the states has to pay so damn much, and then if we get the bulky stuff outa the states it costs us so much again, but enough about griping,we just get on with saving and working 3 jobs |

i like it that my x wheels are a little stronger. with all the summertime construction going on you may end up doing some off-roading if you know what i mean. |

I run my CityX off road all the time with the "road" blacks, no adverse affects yet. Even a couple of air grabs and they survived fine. |
