Um, I signed the roll call on March 31. I'll talk to my loan officer about the pizza. Thin crust or thick? Any of you NE Ohio boys going to the vintage races this weekend? I'm riding up with a buddy of mine. We've been talking about going up to watch these races since he sold me my '81 Maico (250). I'll bet there are people around here old enough to remember Maico. | ||

For any of you folks coming in from Southern VA or the Carolinas, I highly recommend routing your trip through Staunton, VA (I-81). Take US 250 all the way to Elkins WV, US 33 West to Grantsville and then 16 North to Harrrisville. Be a good tune up ride. 250 across the mountains is great. If you are coming from the North East, you can't beat US 50 from the WV/VA state line all the way to Clarksburg WV where it turns to 4 lane. This whole section is a blast but when you pass the little park with antique tractors beside the "Coolspot" convenience store, tighten up your helmet 'cause miles and miles of switchbacks await you (this will be roughly half way from the State line to Clarksburg). I just softened up my suspension a weight class. I haven't lost any weight but some roads are a little rough this year. Be careful in the blind stuff and watch out for gravel and critters. Can't wait. See ya'll here. | ||

Well, it all depends on Webe. We originally were going to trailer up, but now that is in question. If we ride up, I would like to take US-16 north from NC to WV. I am taking the entire week off, so I have time to ride to the cabin and then ride north on US-16. | ||

That sounds like a "grate" idea! I think i could talk my folks into feeding us.... and then I could ride some twisties with about 30 to 40 Buellers to clear my head.... Yeah... THATS THE TICKET! Good idea Vern! | ||

No - this is a Carlos weekend (makes for a good marriage, right?). I don't ride the twisties very well and it would put a damper on his weekend. My next weekend with him will be Buelltoberfest. | ||
