Ditto what Chop says. I want everyone to have a good time, but please understand, to be successful at this takes focus, I simply don't have the luxury of letting myself get distracted from what I'm doing to think about other things. And with more people around, the potential for that goes way up. Best way folks can help is to give me space, then be available when I need something, and wait until I ask. Thanks in advance. |

Rental gals? Not with my pimpin' new Elves shirt! Hell, them gals will be wantin' to pay me. Can we buy more of these shirts? S2pengy - Sounds like you will be there on a weekday(s) so hunt rates, a $325 room on the weekend is like $100 on a weekday. The Venetian -SP? where the MC show is great, they even have a Starbucks. If you are interested off in off strip places try the "Sunset Station" - around $100 on weekends and $40-50 otherwise. |

"we could sure use some o'them purty umbrella girls if ya can scare some up." I can see it now Bike and rider standing in the baking sun awaiting their Run, the only protection from the multi coloured umbrella held high over head. You start from the ground and work upwards, fresh well shaved legs, a small tight skirt, halter top and yuk it's Rocket trying to be helpfull. See yer soon mate first iced tea is on me. |

Roc, I believe the girls were at you like that last year.(PS. I don't think it's the shirt) Rex was one of the umbrella units last year...did an EXCELLENT job. I hope there are plenty of those big umbrellas. Those would be cool printed with the team elves logo... |

Aaron, Should we bring along documentation of the manufacturer mandatory shock recall to explain why our shock doesn't look like the orignal equipment one?? Our paint guys got all the bubbling out of the S2 bodywork and say that it shouldn't bubble again. Something about there being the wrong primer and too thin a coat. It looks really sharp, color is "Viper Red". One of the xr's will be the same color. We are almost there, final assembly of the S2 tonite and some gentle run in miles. Seeing my S2 back together makes me miss it all the more. I might look for a good street motor to put in it if Bob doesn't want it for display purposes in the dealership. See you all next week. Buellnuts, You are more than welcome to drop those "ladies" over at the XL-List pits, we are far too primal to let a little thing like racing come between us and our urges. Just last week we all bought platform shoes so our knuckles would'nt scrape on the salt. Jim S "we were gunna stop and round up a dozen or so rental gals to pass around in the pits!" |

ELFLY SPEAKING. . . . . All persons coming to The Bonneville Salt Flats need to go over to their local Costco (www.costco.com) and pick up the package of TWO BLUE GROUND TARPS. Rules require that all vehicles be parked on tarps and that caution be taken to prevent any fluids from getting on the Salt. If you can do this, drop an e-mail to TEAM ELVES LOGISITCS with the subject "Your name - I'll bring two tarps" in the subject. Court |

ELFLY SPEAKING....... If you have ordered TEAM ELVES fine textile goods, but have not paid yet be aware of the looming deadline. On Monday, the 1/2 the balance of the remaining stock gets shipped to Bonneville, the other half to ASB to be placed for sale at the BBQ. Quantities are VERY limited (as in about 25 shirts left) so act accordingly. See you on The Salt! Court |
