LOL, Josh, I feel for you on this one!!! I am constantly getting the "Why can't you get a bike with a PRETTY color like; red, or orange or yellow!" "I hate all that black!" or "you know one that is covered with more plastic! EEEEEKKKK!!!! They just don't understand we don't want the same cookie cutter machine that every other person is riding. At least Maribelean is pushing you towards a Buell! lol |

Racerboy, Frank and myself have procured lodging for Fri. and Sat. nights out at the gap, I just realized we are going to be homeless for thurs. Any Ideas? anyone care to comment? also I figured we would meander back to the prairie without a schedule or Itenary so lodging for the return would not be an Issue. where are all of you staying on thurs night? and do you think rooms will be available for that night only? all input would be appreciated greatly. Roger, I will try and find out where and when we can meet up with you on Fri. I have your number so you can expect to hear from cyclone1 or I sometime between now and then. Looking forward to meeting everyone. and giving wheelie lessons. How do you post a picture? None of you have seen the X1 in it's full(custom tail,bob-job,chrome framed, race-kitted, bad to the bone) glory. Also I am bringing with me some mirror relocators I had machined. These are for re-using your stock mirrors in a position that puts them outboard a little further and lower. cyclone1(frank and beans) has them on his scooter for anyone to look at and I will try to dig up some photos (before and after) I have sold a fey pairs here in KC and they are pretty cool for $25. made of stainless steel. |

Sam...Call DGMR at 800.889.5550...I'll bet they can get you in Thursday for one night... Sam and Frank...Ruth at Fontana just faxed me the list of who have signed up for the Sat evening dinner and I don't see your names on the list...Call her tomorrow at 800.849.2258, ext 140...It may be too late but try...Did you make reservations at DGMR for the BBQ on Friday?... As far as meeting up with others while in NC...All the rides start and end at DGMR so it would be easiest to meet there...It's only about six miles from Fontana... Emergency contacts: Frank and Sam would you please post here or email me your emergency contact name and phone number...Of course I have John's and DAve's... Hey, is anyone else coming to dinner here Wednesday?...See you guys Wednesday... See Ya! Bob |

Keith, I made camp site reservations Thursday through Monday. For $15 we can have 2 tents/site so you're welcome to split the camp site with me if you and Heather will be campin'. I also found out there are quite a few rooms left. My Dad and brother are comin' up on Saturday from SC. BOb, I left a message or two for Ruth on the Saturday dinner reservations but no call back to date. The Friday bar-b-que was a simple number attending...they didn't need a name. Oh ....thanks for the invite BOb but I'll pass on the dinner. A weekend in NC is tough enough to manage. ;-) DAve |

Shazam, You and I have to talk. I need some special, super duper, light brackets made. These would fit where the turn signals are now, and hold my PIAA, burn your eyeballs out, driving lights. About those wheelie lessons. Your too late.

Sure Frank... if they'll allow more than 2 tents c'mon! We'll see how many ways we can split $15/night. I'm sure they'll be spots available if they hold us to the 2 tent/spot rule. By the way ... ya suppose to work it out with Sam which way he likes to spoon. hahahahaha DAve |

Keith, No worries the actual tickets haven't arrived yet (they're apparantly having trouble with their new ticketing system). I'll let you know when we get 'em Josh |
