Has anyone installed an aftermarket pipe who might be willing to part with their stock (49 state, cat-free) muffler? For a reasonable price and shipping? |

Zack3g, what made you decide on the saron over the D&D? I will also have a muffler availible soon, when I decide which one to go with. |

i like the way the saron sounds. D&D, at least the one i heard, sounds more like an open pipe than an exhaust. i don't really like that. |

I would be interested in a stock take-off as well. Someone drop me an email when you are ready to sell. |

Matt (Trojan) offers the Saron. Exchange rate is ~$1,200 not counting shipping. http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/255.html |

I do like the way the saron stays with the underbelly concept. Is it legal for street use in the US? |

Matt (Madxcat)...have to be careful since there are now 2 folks named "Matt" on here...the price of the Saron is ~double that of the D&D. However, take a look at the HP, Torque & AFV dyno sheets of both & compare the curves. IMO, the Saron is the better buy for the $$$. Plus, you won't lose any lean angle with the Saron. |

Hi Cutty72, I'd be happy to play "guinea pig" for Odie later this fall after the riding season is up here in beautiful Washington state. I think he'd do a great job on this..... I feel the stock pipe is still the best design for this bike I've seen yet, and would be glad to see it re-baffled and the spouts aimed outward off of the rear brake rotor. Take care and stay safe, Tracy |

Yeah, Odie, I'll get with you before I put Vader up for the winter. If you don't have a stock pipe, I'll send you mine to play with. |
