BWB can send you copies of postings that you request. This is set up in your profile. For example, this line of postings on the e-mail notification issue, if selected, should show up in your e-mail. This keeps you from having to keep going back and checking each and every thread you have some interest in. So far it still ain't working. |

The service seems to get constipated for a while then dumps what's been stored all at once. I thought it was my email service causing the restriction. Guess not. |

i have had some odd glitches for awhile. hehe glitches. i may post on a thread then go to the topics board and suddenly its as if i was looking at the screen a few hours earlier. half the stuff i just read is gone and all the posts are older ones. refresh the page and it usually straightens out though. thats just an example |

I heard that ECMspy will solve this issue. If not, try a TPS reset. |

It may be that your ISP/email service provider has tagged email from epost@firebolt.badweatherbikers.com [216.254.92.92] as spam. Ask them if that is the case and if so to please allow email from BadWeB. Tell them it is user elected emailings of board posts from an internet discussion forum at www.BadWeatherBikers.com. Ask them how we avoid this issue in the future. Last time this happened an inconsiderate BadWeBr who wanted to cease receiving his elected email notifications of posts chose to report them as spam to his email provider rather than follow the simple instructions contained in each such email to edit his profile settings. People are funny. At least that time the ISP contacted us to advise of the reported spam accusation and we were able to resolve the issue. Sorry for the trouble. Rest assured that BadWeB does not ever engage in any kind of spamming. You may see folks use our domain in a fraudulent email/spam though. But when you investigate the origin of the email via the full email header, it will indicate the source as something not from our server. Spammer SUCK! |

This is how they responded: They are requesting BWB admin to submit this form located: http://www.comcastsupport.com/Forms/NET/blockedpro vider.asp Did I mention that sometimes it seems that the human touch has evaporated. Oh well. Blake if you can fill this out, please do and let me know how/ when they respond. Thx Neil |

Neil, Done! However, it may be prove more convincing coming from you, an actual comcast subscriber. Under the "I am the" field, just select "comcast subscriber." Our IP is "216.254.92.92". My message was as follows:

They say no block is in place. Neil, and others, have you checked your own spam folders to see if maybe the BadWeB generated emailings of board posts are ending up there? Try adding "epost@badweatherbikers.com" to your approved list?
Thank you for contacting Comcast Customer Security Assurance. We have received and reviewed your RBL removal request. Below each IP address you submitted in your request, we have included the result of our research. Please do not reply to this message. 216.254.92.92 We have received your request for removal from our inbound blocklist. Blake: No PM, nothing in my screened/ spam folder. During the day I access my mail via Comcast webmail versus Outlook at night. I don't see the e-mails from BWB on Comcast. Previously I could see them on Comcast during the day before I fired up Outlook and it would download and then delete the messages off of the Comcast webmail. Do you want me to try another e-mail address or register new? Neil |
