I figured I'd extend it here as well, because the more cars the better! Location is Columbus OH, and all makes and models are fine. I've talked to Quality, Mr. Tint, and Eclipse about a 'group buy' on window tint. I also emailed a 'contact' with AAP but haven't heard back yet. Quality is willing to take $10 off their pricing for us. Mr. Tint says they do not do discounts of any sort. And Eclipse sounds like the winner. His regular price is $20 less than Qualities discounted price, PLUS he'll take $20 off for our group! Here's the discounted pricing I got from him: A4's and Passat's = $159 New Beetle = $149 Cabrio = $139 Ford Ranger = $119 (plus tax) As far as I've seen you can't beat those numbers! His credentials: He tints all the cars for Byers Imports 22 years experience 14 years in the Better Business Bureau Lifetime Warrenty against bubbling and peeling I will wait to hear back from AAP before I jump on this, but I have a feeling this guy's going to take my business. What I would perfer to do is setup a 'password' (probably Ohio VW) and then we all can go in whenever it works out (over the span of a month maybe?) and give him the club name and get the discount. What I need now is to know who is serious and 100% willing and ready to do this, if the prices above are our best pricing The last thing I want to do is have this guy give us a great group price, and then have only a few cars actually pay up. I'm not a fan of the 'lighter front windows, darker back windows' look, and there's no point in tinting if you're going to keep all the windows as light as it's required to be legal. So I'm not going real dark, but I am going a bit darker than what's legal. And the Audi is looooong due for tint. I've since raised the car about a quarter of an inch, and the tires now are slightly lower profile. Now the top of the tires are flush with the fenders, instead of being tucked like that picture. and, Whaaaa? I would flip out if somebody slashed my tires. I have two sets of wheels because the SVT Focus just shreds tires, so the biggest problem was the changing of the tires. I don't think I'll be putting another set on, most likely some snow tires this winter.   Mikef5000 Posted on Monday, August 04, 2008 - 07:55 am:        I also have two sets. The Factory wheels with skinny snow tires for the winter, and the BBS wheels with wide summer tires. As heavy as my car is, I'm suprised it doesn't shred tires more than it does. Thought I would pass the word. and.... On Sept.10 at Quaker Steak, they are doing a Buell night or something to that effect.
