Austin Hellbuellies will be gathering en masse at the Regal Metropolitan 14 after quenching our thirst at a nearby watering hole. I couldn't wait and watched the BBC television series last weekend. Good flick. Watching Long Way Round next weekend. |

Froggy - Did you buy a ticket yet? I bought two for me and a buddy, but he's not sure if he'll be able to make it or not. Figured if you were waiting to buy at the box office I could off this one and save this guy a few bucks. |

I got the DVD a couple of nights ago and just finished it last night. It's worth watching, but as with most sequels, not as good as the first... |

That was good. Still on the road driving home. I was dissapointed at how short the europe portion is. Hour 59 minutes of the 2hr thing was in africa. Was awesome seeing the pyramids and star wars bar |

I also couldn't believe how fast they zipped through Europe. But I think the purpose of the show is to get off the beaten path and away from everyday people. I still really liked it. (Message edited by Mikef5000 on August 01, 2008) |

FYI- The movie was a "Director's Cut" version for theater viewing. The original BBC series was 6 1-hour episodes. |

I believe that the edition that I got (3 DVD set), is 10 one hour episodes, plus the bonus features. I was in looking at what items were available on my AMEX cards points, and saw that it was available. I believe it was through Best Buy.... JimDuncan69, I think, seeing as how it was your bike, and all, you should have been able to jump into that picture as a passenger. Them's some nice grab handles on the front of your bike! Or, are those the pictures that are coming.... |
