Well this is the plan from my end. Got a co-worker wanting to buy a bike NOW. SO he's going at 10am to Destination Harley (Fife/Tac) I am meeting him there for moral support. (he's never had a bike. SO I'm going to test drive for him, give him blessing or not. Then leave. Ride Rainier loop. Through Elbe, then Ashford, the Rainier entrance ($5?) then up probably just pass Paradise to stay in the sun for the ride. hit 123? then hook to 410 and come out Greenwater, then just when entering Enumclaw, take right and follow back roads to Greenriver Gorge area, thru serious twisting cowtown roads, then hook up with hwy 18 bake to I-5. (4 hours?) s/b fun. Then Sunday Going with some riders (2Bm'rs, honda, north 5 take right thru Duvall, up Stevens? hwy2?, then into Leavenworth, then Bluett, then I-90 home. takers either/or... or both john |

Druell, We have a Custom X-1 that I've changed to an X-3. It has also graced the pages of Battle2win magazine. Also it had fresh pistons and valves. 12,000 miles and the Bike has been reliable as hell. Lemeeknow, Bob |

GREAT photos Kim, I nominate you for Official Northwest BADWEB Photographer. Upon further examination it seems I'm not driving my inside shoulder through the the apex, I'll work on that. Great day at the Rose City Cycle Fest. The Buell Hospitality Tent is a huge success. Most of the Buell race teams joined us for lunch and will be with us Sunday from 12:00 until 2:00. Henery Dugan spent at least an hour and a half talking Buell history and passion with us. Buell parking is available at the tent. Cross the track near the start finish line and head east toward turn 9, look for the Destination Buell and Sunset Thunder Club banners when the road ends. Looking foreward to seeing ya'll, Chris'n'Loni |

Just got back from a rained out attempt at Mt. Baker (although the sun was out in Vancouver as we returned.) Second attempt this week that only got as far as the North Fork Beer Shrine. Wonder why that keeps happening. Great news. My squiggly handling is finally cured with the replacement of the swingarm bushings. I wish it hadn't taken a year or two of suffering (or putting up) before I got to the right part. (Tires, steering head bearing, shocks.) Also got the new rear tire that I should have bought BEFORE Border Raid so now I'll have to ride every day off to get my money's worth before the end of the season. Any of you going to make the Annacortes Oyster Run on Sept 28th? |

So, next year I expect a good and proper go from ya mate! Chop, Chop, cheerio and all the wrought! In The Rain Forest, Bob |

Dan, Eric, Bob (Debbie in Spirit..) Thanks for showing at DH Tac, it was nice to meet you all. Good people. And thanks for inspireing my co-worker Spencer into buying Debbie's sweet "X-3". You guys kept good care of it and I'm going to do my best in keeping him rubber side down for life. (his first bike) It's a steal at 6k. As for our sat jaunt, thanks Dan for trail blazing. I'm on my 5th motorcycle since high school but I still consider myself a novice. You both are good riders, it was nice to see you give that Honda a fight I'm going to pass on a Sunday ride. Wife came home with a belly button piercing. I thought I was the one out cuzing trouble? Pics from our day will post tomorrow...yawn...zzz Thanks again. john |

It's going to be a loong winter of no riding! The good news is it will be a warm one since I accepted the job in St Croix! Time to be a parrot head! Shooter, If you read this I plan to take you up on your offer of storing my bike in your garage. I need to get with you sometime around the 21st or so. I'll be leaving for the island around the 26th. I'll be thinking of y'all as I sit on the beach sipping "Dark & Stormys" |

John, That was a pretty good ride -- too bad all the slowest cars in the world happened to be on the twisty part of hwy 7. As for the fat guy in leathers on the honda, what a squid. Didn't see much of him in the twisties, and I was thinking I'd have to treat another motorcycle accident the way he was passing cars Have fun taking care of your wife's belly button, just remember, it's your turn to get something pierced now Dan |

Erich, Right on More rides should happen -- we need to go hit St Helen before the weather crushes us. Possibly Bob could be influenced to give us a guided tour (Bob -- hint, hint ) Dan |
