Good ride today Mike! Thank you Jimmy and Becky for hanging out and waiting for me. Jimmy, your offer was fantastic and right on time, but the bank stuff...you know. I had a great time until.... Torrential downpour on 64 through Norfolk, tunnel backup to 4th view, bottleneck backup at Jefferson, and it never got better. I got off at Lee Hall and went through town, which wasn't much better. Did I mention I was soaking wet the whole time?...Mike?? I think I won the "bad trip home" award. Bike and Bluetooth stuff did great. Never missed a "beat". |

Guys, just wanted to throw my 2 cents in on today. Had a great time and can't wait for the next one. Good thing we didn't season that deer with a little road rash today! Great bikes, great riders, and great times. |

Hey folks, enjoyed the ride....Im usually a little more talkative but I was recovering from excessive Miller Lite syndrome...LOL Wheelies are fun and best learned on a dirt bike before trying it on a street bike. Burnouts are easily taught, rolling burnouts are tricky...cost me a broken hand last January. However they sure do look cool. Looking forward to our next ride. By the way...that venison looked a little beat to me...litterally had his head shoved up his a$$. Beat Meat is not good...LOL |

Sorry guys... Leaving first thing in the morning Saturday for a ride to Carlisle, PA. I won't be back until sometime Sunday night. Gonna ride 33 to 15 and take 15 all the way up to PA. Looks like a cool ride along the mountains. (well...what we call mountains here in the east) My dad's gonna ride his old Chopper. It'll be the first "serious" ride I've ever done with the old man. |

McD's Sunday at nine sounds good to me. Becky has to work Sunday so she will not be joining us Mel have fun and watch out for deer headin up through the mountains for some reason they are attracted to a loud exhaust. So what is exactly the res ride???? Any how I am in I will ride where ever when ever, just gotta change the fluids Saturday evening. I am out in Oklahoma all week and the bike is just settin I hope she ain't to pissed when I get back. Well at least bikes aren't like wifes they do not get mad when you ride another bike. Duck you need to get the CR in and talk the boss into letting me demo it!!!!!!!!! |

Jimmy, Missed your question before... The Res ride: The worst roads that I could find on Mapquest, local to me, turns out to be the best riding around, and it happens to cross creeks and stuff, and a couple reservoirs. It changes a little as I find different shortcuts, but remains mostly intact from the first ride. Parts are very tight, and parts have sand/gravel. We will let you know when we get there. Be ready for feet down for debris, and brake lights for a slow section. We don't rip ass through certain sections on purpose! Mike, got anything to add for a "sticky" first post for a Res ride section? |

dudes! Carlisle is off the hook! took 300 miles to get here but I'm glad I came! i've taken so many pictures. i'll have to post them on "webshots" for ya'll to see. wore my Buell shirt & Cap, I had 7 or 8 people ask which Buell I have! Today was ^Street Fighter" Day and Wow is all I can say. if you ask me Buell is marketing to the wrong crowd cause everyone here has MUCH love for Buells!! ...unfortunately I only saw 2 other Buells. (well 3, one was a "bastardized" Cyclone made into a chopper.) |

Hey guys, good ride today and I was very impressed by Jovanna's ability to ride. She bought that Blast in May and it spent the last month in the shop. She did well in my opinion from trailing her. Looking forward to next weekend. Goody |

I think Jovanna did well also. Has she taken the MSF course or something?? Soo... How'd the "bagger" do today? I know Mike had his doubts. I have to admit that I pushed it harder through there the other day just to see what it was made of. Apparently it's made of tougher stuff than me. |

Everyone Good ride always fun and for a surprise no tunnel issues, but there was this tree in the middle of 64EB. Next Saturday 8/2/08 Peninsula ride ending somewhere near Bill's burg and visit and hopefully some demo rides form Steel horse classics (MV Augusta Dealer). Just need to gently remind him of his offer the last time we came to visit him. he still has a lot of cool vintage bikes at his shop anyway. Goody you're a BAD influence this is the first ride I can recall watching Tank trying to wheelie. Bad goody bad. It was cool meeting the guy at the deli with the Cyclone at home. It would be good to have another tuber to ride with. OLD SCHOOL ROCKS!!!!! Heck Duc might even know him cause he was talking about th old days with BRAG at SSHD.
