Darn, Man, Someone already stole my idea. How DO I post a video of my 1125R KR bike on here. I already have a video of the bike with the light and music to it. I was waiting till I got my KR GPS with the original voice of kit next month before I post pics. Its great that they are using the 1125R in the KR show. There going to use a pink XB12R for Transformers one for the female autobot RC. I will try to look at for the Pics and links. Is this the same knight rider they started last year? Or did they start over... |

Same knight rider show that debuted in Feb 08. Kitt morphs from a Shelby Cobra 500GT KR (King of the Road) mustang to a F 150 pickup. As Socalbueller posted in his link the Buell 1125R is in the show. But I have been working on my bike for some time. I just put the light earlier this week. |

Now you need the Knight Rider GPS. http://knightridergps.com/ Your bike has a Cylon look as well. I'd be careful not to run that on the road unless you enjoy the company of irritated officers. |

I will be ordering that same gps as soon as it is available next month. I have a on off switch on the left handle bar that I use in parking lots or when I see a group of kids but other wise I keep it off so as to not irritate our friends in blue. |

Hey Jack, is that led light bar a single unit or two identical ones in opposition? I was thinking of doing something similar, but instead having it in the V shape just on the inside of the windscreen, thus I'd need two or one that is flexible. |

Interesting look Tijuanajack. If I may ask, how did you attach your mirrors, and to what part? They definitely give it a different look. Kinda like the Cylon's ears. |

I had a metal fabricator bend and weld some aluminum that starts at the original mounting location and then tap some mounting holes for the block off plates and also attached to the front mounting bolts of the head lights. I still have to go by and have him fill in the grooves that I had to file for the final fitment. We used some 1/4" strips and left the bolt head exposed that attaches the bracket a the top using the original mounting holes so that the fairing sits about 1/2" spaced upwards to throw the air a bit higher as I am 5' 11". I made the air bubble a bit bigger. I will post some pics of the bracket in a while. Oops forgot to talk about the light. It is a single piece and is not flexible in the original case it comes in. I have thought of mounting it it two pieces under the headlights but didn't want to order 1,000 units for a custom light. I do have a custom pieces that I made out of fiberglass that I will have mounted to my spare fairing when I get back to EL Paso. Then I'll have the entire spare body painted midnight black with flat black racing stipes and mount two light bars behind a tinted lense on the custom piece I made. I just mounted this bar on the radiator pods to show my buddies before I leave Augusta, GA. (Message edited by tijuanajack on July 27, 2008) |
