Want-a-be Elf/Penguin needs room for Bonnieville for Thur-Sunday (9/19-22)... Lost roommate and room.. Might be able to keep room if anyone else is also homeless... I promise no anchovies in the room and will keep temperatures above freezing... Smoking/non smoking makes no difference... Also lost ride for 130 club and looking for same... Also in need of leathers to borrow size 38-40 waist 31/30 inseam (inseam impared Penguin).. Jacket size 46 or XL Also will need medium sized snell appoved helmet... (Penguins like Nolan N-100 which is not snell approved, fits the beak better) Need to find out if all is available or cancel plans... If anyone remembers Bloom County....... Opus the penguin had a lifetime wish for wings that worked... His friends threw him off a cliff at one point... He tied balloons to him self another time... On a Christmas special some ducks gave him a ride............... The s2penguin is having a wish to try for the 130 club....... Dont know if I can work it out or not but I would like to try..... Need to find out if there is a possible bike to ride and the gear needed... Thanks Todd aka S2pengy |

Todd, I've got a set of leathers that should fit you. You are welcome to use them if I'm not running at the time. Also welcome to use my helmet, but not sure it will fit since it's 7 5/8. Ray |

Todd, I have medium helmet you can borrow, I'll bring it, and if I'm not running my leathers might fit, they'd be a bit long though. If no one else has a bike for ya to ride, my X-1 may do the 130- I hope so, anyways it's gonna give it hell. See ya at the salt. Pilk |

Just realized how close this all is, busy afternoon at work download travel insurance. Air the Oz and Boxing Kangaroo flag, burn a CD with "I come from the land down under" hope the Americas cup memories are all faded by now. The Flag will be easy for Aaron and the Europeans to spot at Denver airport I will be the lump asleep under it. See you all or as Pammy would say "yewall" soon. PS: Rocket ever considered shaving your legs, it works for the Push Bike riders. |

I'm slated to arrive SLC via AA from Dallas at 9 PM on Thursday evening (9/19) and will be driving a rental to Bendover. If anyone needs a ride, let me know. I'll be heading back to SLC on Monday evening, 9/23. Same offer. Blake (bummedhecan'tmaketheASWdynoparty) |

Aaron, All things being equal, Pocket Pecker will be flying to Hamsterdamn and then we will all be catching the same plane/s to Denver. Arrival should be 13th September at 20:36. I think Paul gets in at 17:46. He said he'll sit under his Aussie flag, drinking the Bundy and nursing his jar of Vegemite..... Please tell your President not to nail Iraq before then (11th?), because we really don't want the flights disrupted. Thanks. PPiA |

Court, Aaron et al Dave Despain just called and he and the Speed vison crew will definitely be there. At least two days, probably the 20th and 21st, maybe out for the whole event. Most of us are getting to Wendover Wed. night and will see you all Thur. morning. I did not get a chance to speak with him, but their presence for at least two days should give us a hell of a shot at getting the TeamElves story out. Paul |

Vik, like Pete said. When do you think you'll ever get the opportunity again to meet your fellow cyber buddy Buellers from all over the world? A multi-national event like this is hard to beat. Do it now before your little one grows up and consumes all your time by turning you into a minivan driving soccer dad! |

Ray, what a GREAT looking sidecar rig, yer putting Team Galbraith to shame. I guess we'll have to rely on the stunning good looks of our riders to make up for it... :-). Team Galbraith news - The Triumph is done and ready to go. We are breaking in the engine this weekend. The SuperModel's sidecar is coming back from the welders today. Finally fitting and road testing will be this weekend. The Guzzi is still not done. All it "really" needs is safetwire and cutoff switches, so hopefully it will be done this weekend or by mid-week next week. One of our sponsors flaked on us big time. Avon tires had promissed tires for the bikes they have fitment for. They were all smiles and such about setting up the deal, getting tire sizes and such, but have stopped returning phone calls and emails, and no tires are forthcoming. Sooooo... its off to the tire store. No biggy really, but I'll think twice before I put a set of Avons on one of my bikes. Our other sponsor, Sidi Boots, has come through like a champ. Did anyone catch the Team Galbraith story in ThunderPress? Thanks Reg. Otherwise, getting excited. should be a hoot. |

Looking forward to meeting everyone and no ACK ACK won't be coming... He is hiding from the CDC at the moment... If any one still has a open bed for Thursday ping me otherwise I will try to get one this weekend so if anyone shows up earlier than planned..... |

Aaron you'll recognise me, I'm the good looking one Chop, is there anything I can do with Avon on my side of the pond ? MCN has featured Bonneville twice in the last year, so maybe a little ear bending on my part, as a 'participant' at last years event, might help Avon see how a little sponsorship could go a long way. Hell, you're a Land Speed Record holder ! Or maybe I can just bring their tyres in my luggage if the British Avon fellas come good ? I assume you were talking with Avon US ? Anyway, let me know, I can be good on the phone VIK, get your ass on a Greyhound !! Rocket who will not be riding the salt in bathing attire (like that other Brit did) or shaved stumps thank you! |

Aaron I will go through Customs at LAX although some of the gear I will be lugging could look a bit funny to the blocks in uniform. Would'nt Peter have to put Rocket through quarantine not customs. |

Just tell Goerge W to hold off until Rocket is back home. That ought to convince him to hold off.Once he realises he will be personnaly responsible for trapping Rocket in the U.S.A. He will see reason. |
