Checked out ther KV and didn't see anything where anyone had similar problems to mine.

My 03 9R has recently decided to puke oil rather than use it. The nearest I can tell is that its coming from the inlet and outlet fittings where the filter spins on.

I took the lines off and checked it the other day. These 2 fittings in particular had what looked like little plastic sealing rings on them. They were both cracked and fell apart in my hand. I wrapped them with teflon pipe tape and re-installed. This lasted for a couple days but now the leak is back.

Anyone have any suggestions on this for a solution? I've hunted and going to have to order the parts, nobody in my state has them, but maybe if one of you has a better idea...

...could they potentially be replaced with an o-ring? If so, you could pick them up at any automotive or hardware store.

Thought of that. Just afraid if one fails where its pieces might end up.
