Hey guys, Been doing alot of searching and looking but can't find any U.S. sites that have a fender eliminator kit for a XB9. The other option is to mod the stock unit. Anyone have a tutorial as to how to modify the stock (cutting off the cheese grater)? Thanks, Matt |

search the knowledge vault and you'll find loads of info. I think that Trojan, and maybe American Sport Bike and Odie have cut down pieces or fiberglass replacements that are smaller available if you want to spend the bucks instead of doing it yourself. |

get a grinder and wittle till you like how it looks. there's no real science to it mark an outline of the shape you'd like it to be and have at it.

I used the ribs from the underside to start my cutting. If I were to do it again I would have cut out more from under the taillight section and used the clear portion as a license plate light.

I did mine too. The title of the thread was It's gone... and was in the XB section. Easy and cheap to do it yourself |

I purchased a 'fender eliminator' from a similar ebay auction and it was actually just a license plate bracket.... As always 'buyers beware' and all that other common sense stuff...lol |

I got one from A.S.B. after I was rearended instead of a original replacement, other wise I would have made it myself |

Michael at Spec Ops did mine. Came out looking pretty good. I could have done it myself if I had the tools, seemed pretty simple. |
