Good morning all. As i type this with my left hand i am preparing to go into surgery to reassemble my right clavicle. After that it's the long road to recovery to get back on the bike. (you should have seen me last night cutting and grinding my cheese grater off with one hand) Until then! |

Doh! Clavicles seem to be the 'bone to break' this year amongst Buellers. Here's to a speedy recovery! |

the collar bone (clavicle) is SO easy to break. The good news is that the Buellers that are breaking them are not also requiring skin grafts or facial re-construction too because for the most part they have been wearing their gear. |

If any possible, get a TIN implanted. Much better than anything else. I "got nailed" :-) and the implant had been removed after 6 (!) weeks without any problems before and after. Regards Gunter |

Back from the hospital. Very little pain and mostly clear headed. I guess that's probably what you get after you have become used to having a shattered bone in your neck for a whole week and then they put you back together. And yes Brian, i was wearing full gear, like always, and will continue to do so at all times in the future. I just need a new helmet. I'm thinking Scorpion EXO-700 Burst in Red and Black. Sexy. |

Congrats on the successful operation. I broke my collar bone in half, skateboarding a minipipe. I reset it myself with my other hand, Rambo style, got x-rayed and the doc wondered how I did it. Got lucky I guess. Still a long road to full recovery. Good Luck. Dislocated/separated shoulders suck as well. I hate highsides!!! But those are another story... |

The worst part about all this is that the only thing i can currently do is shop online. Thus far i have purchased bar end mirrors, and a HID low beam kit. As well as made it so both lights are on when the high beams are on. Being crippled is expensive |
