Hey guys, New to this forum and just got a Buell, 2007 Ulysses. Got the deal on the saddlebags, bags came in, took in to the Dealership and when they were installed charged me $350 to install. Salesman and Service Manager never said anything about installation fee. Did anyone else get charged to install the bags? or Is my dealer trying to rip me off? Also I checked the bracket and it looks fairly simple to install, for that price if I would have been told I probably would have attempted to install myself. Thanks Dealer Santa Fe HD, NM |

I don't think that was in the spirit of the idea even if they didn't break any rules. Doesn't sound free to me and 3 hours? $350.00 It will be interesting to see if anyone else was charged. |

Three hours!!!? It took me about an hour and I'd never done it before. Three hours for "professionals" to bolt on a couple of mounting brackets is absolutely ridiculous. |

I wonder if the $350.00 included the set up fee for the motorcycle? (Not just the bracket installation). |

3 hours, only if you are drinking while you are doing it. Took a weekend to get mine up and one the bike, but we were working through a case over the weekend. Beer and Pizza, the best shop rate there ever was |

Yes, you were ripped off. Maybe 1 hour labor at most, 1/2 hour if they have any plans to keep your business. I hoped you charged it and can contest the payment. In the meantime contact CS. |
