Besides here, ebay, craigslist and cycletrader, are there any places to find used buells for sale? I've checked a few other buell forums and motorcycle forums, but most are dead. |

there are a few 05 xb9s for sale near me for $6k, but for that price i'd rather find an 04 xb12s. Lots of firebolts for sale, but I like the street fighters. I'm bummed, but my wife is really happy that the money is still in the savings account. I've been looking in Florida or course as well as Alambama, SC, NC, GA. If I can get a 05 xb9s for $5500, then I might settle for the 9. Not a lot of 12's out there for sale. |

I'm looking for 03-05 because they all tend to sell for less than $6k. No damage either. |

Keep looking, you'll find one. I picked up my 03 last year for $4100. I've seen them go for less (but not often). |

I've got a FLAWLESS white '03 XB9R -- not a scratch -- new Pirelli Skorpion Syncs -- new Corbin seat -- BABIED -- new air filter (paper) -- and Odie pipe -- that I'm considering moving. CRG levers. 6400 miles. The crew at Stone Mountain Harley Davidson say it is the best 2003 they've ever seen. PM me if you're interested. (Message edited by guzzimon on July 12, 2008) |

Arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh! There's another 2004 xb12s on ebay with no reserve. It's in Freaking New Jersey! I can't drive 14 hours to get it. There are now two 04 xb12s' on ebay, both in New Jersey. |

I actually drove to NJ for my Ebay '04 12s! It's been a great decision, and she really enjoys living in NC better than Jersey But Palatkas a long drive.... |

How much did you pay for your 04 12s? There was an 05 on there the other day that only got $5k. That was a sad day for buell. |

Almost embarrassed to say, last November for only $3,800 '04 12s 9.8k miles in average condition w/ race kit (actually well maintained and indoor kept, perfect cosmetically with the exception of a bit of oxidation and some rust spots from road salts) I felt fairly secure in its representation as it was a HD dealer who had taken it in on trade. I credit the low selling price to a terribly tiny fuzzy pic on the Ebay listing and a Cee Baileys windscreen which made it look, shall we say, boringly practical? The other best option I found was a '06 xb12SS 3.8k miles, out the door for $5.6k (loved it but couldn't see $2k more w/o a race pipe) Keep up the search! |

What's the problem with Jersey ? We're so great all the good deals come here. Why don't you see if the Jersey bikes are near any willing Bad Webbers and see if they can help you get from the airport to the sellers spot. That way you could fly up here to beautifull scenic Jersey and ride home on your new pride and joy. PM me and we'll see if I can help you out. |

the idea of riding 14 hours doesn't appeal to me, especially on a bike I barely know. I'd be trailering whatever i buy. Besides, the price of airline tickets is outrageous. Last time i flew was to bootcamp back in 92. The cost of driving to Jersey is too great. |

I didn't even think about the cost of flying. I guess it is an issue. Something is sure to come along if you can bear the wait. |

Moose...Rained out tonight. Also, I may have to move to a night shift to convert some court rooms over. My old man usually goes if it's not raining so I'll let him know to keep he's eye out. Also I'll talk to the sale's guy who sold me my 9r for him to keep his eyes open as well. If you want PM me with exactly what you want and are willing to spend and I'll forward that to my sale's guy. |

I read this post and saw you were looking for an XB12S. I am actually looking to buy an XB12XT this weekend. I know I am in Fargo, ND, but keep the option in mind if you cannot find anything. I have yet to list mine since I am still debating selling it. As with all Buell riders, we fall in love with our bikes and it is tough to let them go. I will know soon if I plan on keeping it or letting it go. I only want it to go to someone that appreciates it for what it is. This is the place to find those people. It's a 2004 Red XB12s. I have it with a Corbin Gunfighter, Factory race kit, full bags (saddle, trunk, tail and tank bag) as well as all the OEM parts with spare tires. I will probably end up listing it with Race kit and stock seat. The Corbin seat, bags, extra tires, stock exhaust and ECM are cake to sell on Ebay. If someone were to want all those items (and who wouldn't) they could be negotiated. Heck, the matching Joe Rocket Jacket and Helmet may not match my new XT!! I would say the KBB price of around $6K is fair with the race kit. These bikes smoke!! Only reason for thinking of the XB12XT is for the 2-up riding. Pm me if you can't find a bike. Most will find that bike shops ship bikes for under $500 and you will only trust a Buell owner in the used market. Good luck with your search Mark Lawson Fargo, ND |

I drove from Washington DC to Ann Arbor, MI to get by '05 XB12S. It took me 13 hours each way. I did it in one weekend with a buddy. Best road trip ever! |
