Just got confirmation that we will be campaigning an almost entirely stock 1125R in the SST class of Moto-ST for Round 7 at Thunderbolt Raceway in New Jersey Motorsports Park! Anthony Caligiuri (Mutation_Racer) and Keith Delk (buellrcr) will be riding this round, perhaps with a third rider (need to hash a few details out). More info to come once we firm up a few details! | ||

This is actually what I've been hoping for in our racing, A Buell motorcycle, OUR Buell motorcycle, in a Buell sponsored class, competing against the popular fascist/socialist/imperialist manufacturers that have dominated so far. I was ecstatic that RMR won the 500K at Road America, The Homecoming, the 25th Homecoming! But watch out, we'll give you the best run for your money  I CAN NOT WAIT! Thanks for the encouragement Richie! I hope we're on par with your efforts thus far. You'll be on our turf, so feel free to head over to our tent for whatever you need. We'd be more than happy to help out any way we can. Keith! The Mutant has some ideas on accommodations, so we may not be doing the usual camp-by-the-bikes deal. I want to keep The Team together for this one, so we'll get the details ironed out. All you'll need to bring is your 1/2 cordless impact gun, Big Keith, your leathers, YOU, and maybe some Apple Pie | ||

Hey!  if it's gonna be 'come by and visit thing'.. then you better be open to some of the other teams.. I'm sure us non-1125 teams won't mind coming over and trying to gleam some insight from ya.. Yes boys.. I'll be there.. With my hat. I know Rick, Rachel and Krishna (currently injured) and the rest of the team are hoping to get a little closer to the box this time out.. since (we)they'll be missing the next two rounds, you can bet they'll be well rested and ready to run.. So I'll see ya at the new track if I don't catch up to ya somewhere's else first! | ||

Pete, its good to here your coming to are neck of the woods. We hope to have a good finish maybe a top five wood be nice. But we really want to finish. Daytona was ruff, after starting 16th and moving up to 6th with just about four hrs left, and then get knocked out by a fity cent bolt. We want to show what we can do. can't wait to see everyone. Its been a long year not racing. | ||

Thanks Brian! We're going out to shake the bike down, if we get into the top 10, I'd consider it a success. From there, we'll decide if the 8 hours of Daytona is in the cards. I have a K&N filter for the airbox, and will be dyno tuning the bike throughout the month to get it running smoother & cooler via TechnoResearches' DirectLink. From there, we'll fabricate a throttle stop to limit the horsepower to the required 120 bhp maximum. More info to follow once we're ready to compete! |
