Lake Michigan near Grand Traverse Bay. I don't know, really, but the day lillies and the beach remind me of a particularily wonderful weekend in college near Petosky when ...... ah, the memories! |

Those aren't day lillies, that's a different species altogether... My Guess, if it's Cali,is somewhere near Pacifica, although the water appears too Blue... Otherwise I'd run with Mariel,Cuba, due to the eroded emplacements, blue water, skies and Common Milkweed. |

The vegetation looks like it could be Mackinac island on the top of lake Huron, Been there before, although not to that beach, haven't seen docks like that. |
