I bought this set of tires to replace the stock D616's on my Ulysses. But since I'm selling the Uly, I won't need these tires. They are brand new with the Parts Unlimited stickers still on them. Sizes: 120/70 ZR-17 180/55 ZR-17 I would like to sell these tires as a set. Asking $280.00 |

Here's a picture of the tires: Sorry that my reflective vest is, well, reflecting. But, this picture gives you a decent idea of what I'm selling I am in Alaska, so please keep that in mind if you want to purchase these tires. Current shipping rates are obscene. |

What are you replacing the Uly with? |

What are you replacing the Uly with? I'm not. I'm going to take some time off from riding because priorities in my life have changed. I work out of town, so when I'm home I spend all the time I can with my family. The bike just doesn't get the use it should, so I'm selling it. Hmm, maybe I should put an ad together for my Uly here on BadWeB. Anyone want to do a fly-n-ride? } |

I hear ya. 20ish years ago I parked my beloved 1978 R100S due to 12+ hour work days and raising three youngsters. Priorities rule. That bike is how I met their Mom and guess what, I still have it. I bought my Uly so I could take my sweet time to nurture the Beemer back. Which is a kind of problem, since now I ride the Uly so much the BMW still waits... But I STILL have it. Unless selling your Uly is actually a necessity I submit that you'll regret getting rid of it. Bikes are OK with dormant periods if taken care of. Even for years. And they don't take up a whole lot of room. I'd dump the Syncs, or mount them and dump the Dunlops, and keep the Uly prepped and ready for those times when you'll be glad you held onto it. Who knows? One day one of those kids may be on the back grinning from ear to ear! |
