I just traded my o7 gsxr750 for a brand new 1125r. I got a pretty good deal on my trade and they came down on the 1125r so it was a no brainer. The 1125r is such a nice bike although I do have a few things that I am not crazy about. 1. Heat, There is a ton of heat that comes of this thing. My wifes legs were sweating going down the road last night. 2. Fuel mileage, my 750 would average 45mpg.But I knew that going into it. 3. Break in, Salesman pounded into my head about lugging the motor. I know I am forgeting something. Now for the positive things. 1. Torque and Power are AWESOME 2. Handling AWESOME, It makes my GSXR feel like a tank. Even when my wife is with me it dosen't even feel like shes there. 3. Brakes are AWESOME, they took sometime to get used too. 4. Looks, I love it because it looks like nothing else. All in all I am very happy. It took me 8 months to buy one but I am glad I did. It just seems like everything just came together so I had to do it. I can't wait to take it to Mid-Ohio on the 28th of July. It will be a blast. |

Congrats bro and welcome aboard Be nice to her and she'll break right it. The more you ride the better she'll treat you, it's an amazing bike. Ride safe and just wait...when you can open her up all the way, it's just nuts =) Steve |

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on the new bike! The Gixxer7 and Daytona 675 were on my short list with the 1125. Both are great bikes - but you made the right choice! You have come to the right place to help you work through the learning curve on this bike. You might want to post the VIN, either here or in your profile, as it will be helpful in answering questions, or in tracking any problems. Enjoy the bike! Jack |
