my buddy toona has a special ops and i love the tone. Drummer because of the same reason...the tone. The D&D is cool but its waking up the little guy when I leave for work. | ||

Viper, just so you know, you are not being ignored (as is anyone else) XB9er is off at A.T. training for the National Guard. I believe he will be returning somewhere around the 26th/27th of June. I don't believe he will be wanting to have any down time as we will be leaving for Homecoming on July 2. | ||

i was serious about what i said if you can get the ok from him and you guys are good enough friends that he'd let you go rip his exhaust off. I realize there might be some hesitance to sending out a muffler not having any money or anything like that, but if you look at my profile pic i have the Drummer (obviously) and two exhausts do me no good....not to mention you will have to ship to my house so you will have my address. | ||

I figured you were serious, but I have no way of getting hold of him while at A.T. I won't do anything to his bike w/o his knowledge. One possibility, would be to do the swap at Homecoming. | ||

oh i understand about not touching his bike, i just didnt know if there was any way for you to get ahold of him or not.....no one touches my bike without my knowledge either nor would i do anything to someone elses. I am new to buelling, what is and where is homecoming? | ||

Not to stick my nose in here but HC is July 2-6 in East Troy and Elkhart Lake. Since viper is sort of close and xb9r is going to be there it seems like a good way to set up a swap with no real downtime or risk. That's wwhat myself and a guy from Oshkosh are doing. Likewise, if the ride to Dana's in Racine is a bit out of the way for you guys, I'm in New Berlin (between the host hotel and I-43 to East Troy) and have tools and garage available...I'll be at the HC also. Dana, I didn't know that Erik's band was playing in Racine next week. When and where? I was hoping to see his band play at Elkhart Lake on Saturday, but will be heading up north Saturday morning. ok we need a time frame on whats all going on, because i can't/won't be down there all weekend due to the fact that it falls on a holiday weekend (which i think is just asking for an underwhelming outcome to begin with) i will be leaving here at about 9 o'clock Sat. morning that would put me in New Berlin around 11:30-12:00 that sucks though and if no one is going to be around i wouldn't want you to wait for me, so we could also do it at the track itself....just need some tools (i will be riding my bike by myself and wont be able to bring any although i suppose you only need like 3 different kinds of tools and i could throw 'em in my backpack.) let me know...although i suppose this all means nothing without an actual response from 9er | ||

Viper, if Saturday is the only time you can do this, I won't be able to help you guys as I'm on my way north early on Saturday morning. If you guys want to do the exchange anytime on Thursday or Friday, I can help you out. Otherwise, you might want to contact Dana or meet at the track, like you mentioned. The actual pipe exchange is simple with the required tools. | ||

any word, i am just curious as to when you are planning to get into town, i think the easiest way would be to meet you at the hotel the day you get up here (then you can enjoy your new drummer all weekend.....and i can enjoy waking up the neighbors all weekend  ) | ||

well thanks alot man, i love it..... The only thing that sucks is that i can't kick the front wheel up in the air as easily cause it doesn't have the low end grunt that the drummer has, but its WAY more fun on the highway and around long, high speed sweepers |
