Thats fantastic! I'm glad my experience there was an anomaly. Hopefully their parts stocking gets better as well... they have sold quite a few Buells, they should have enough traffic by now to stock parts. |

Yep, gonna try and stay with Aces/Eights they're close to me. I know Larry and Michele the owners and would like to see them become the go-to place for Buell on our side of town, or heck, in our corner of Ohio. They treat me well - not as if I'm a second class - non Hog rider. I make sure to get the Buell stock parts I need from them. The sales folks always try and sell me a Harley, but they know I love my 2 Buells and will never have anything else. I'm just funny that way. An update on the 'Zook'. We charged it, started it and it ran for 20 min. and while running it produced 13 volts at idle and at 1500-2000rpm made 14.3 volts. Maybe it is the battery. He's going to buy a new battery first.... We see where we get. REEP...if we have any further problems with the 'Zook', like I said on the General Board, I'll sneek it into your garage and maybe you'll fix it without noticing! |

I sure would like to go to Homecoming and make it to a couple of the Inside Pass track days again this summer...AND take a family vacation at the beach, but I'm thinking something isn't going to make the cut. That means Homecoming is probably out. Hell, I almost forgot about the Indy Mile and MotoGP in September. Too bad I wasn't born good looking AND rich. |

Yeah, can kinda relate. Goin to Cancun, want to do some track days, go to Homecoming. My biggest problem is getting time off. When offered the motogp tickets, (we held F1 tickets every year from 2000-2007) I said "na we won't go to that". So we lost our preferred ticket/seat status. We should at least get out for a ride this summer! |

I'm growing tired of the snow. In fact I think I hate it. Anyone got a snowmobile? |

Hi all! We met some folks at Aces and Eights yesterday and were wondering if they posted on this site. The husband rides a Ulysses and his wife works for UC. Anyone in the Cinci area match that description? Give me a shout! |

Anybody from Cincinnati planning on going to any of the Inside Pass track days? I don't have a ticket yet, but I'm dreaming of somehow being able to make it to Barber in two weeks. |

It's sunny and 60. I'm riding out Rt. 50 then over Rt. 222. I'll probably stop by the Lube on Milford Pkwy for a pop on the way home. |

Just found this thread, lived in Cincy all my life. I've had the Lightning since last spring. Will have to try and meet some other Cincy Buell folks and ride this summer. |

Welcome Lighteningstrikes (cool name btw) And thanks Reep for 'fixing' my post. The other day I got new tires on my XB and then had to ride home in the pouring rain. It was like riding on ice. I was going real slow and crying! Are you guys going on the June 2nd day? If so can we find a way to meet? (I guess I'll look for a Buell). I'll be on my Blast - it's red. I may need help unloading my bike from the trailer as my husband will probably be in LA. |

We got some pretty good sized hail in Lebanon last night. Took a pretty good pounding with rain as well. And this morning on the way to work (in the car) I saw more water coming down then I think I have ever seen before... Visibility was maybe 20 feet, and the roads could not shed water fast enough... standing water everywhere. |

I saw someone on a Lightning tonight around 8:45pm on North Bend Rd heading from Hamilton Ave toward Colerain Ave. Just curious to see if it was anyone on the BadWeb. BTW I was in my work truck so I wasn't able to give chase lol. |

Old S1, X1, or XB Lightning? I used to ride my M2 around there all the time... but if you saw my XB9SX there, somebody has some 'splaining to do. |

Buell's outnumbered by Vespas at Quaker Steak Bike night. Lots of pastel Vespas there last Wed night. Saw LeashRN's daughter there on the Blast but she said mom was home searching for lost keys to her XB. Rain is forcast for Wed July 9th but looks like clear skys for the next week. Would be nice to have a few Buell badweathers there or anywhere once in a while. Also I am looking at changing the stock exhaust bag on my XB12R to a Jardin & new ecm. Has anyone run one of them or is there a better way to go. I had a Vance & Hines on my ST3 a few years back and performed and sounded good (loud). I don't have time to send my stock muff to drummer for their conversion. Would like opinions so talk back. |

I'd love to come out to bike night, but I work 2nd shift so it's a no go. I have the D&D and race ECM and if your looking for loud it's the way to go. |

I saw another Lightning tonight (XB). They were on 1-28, going from Ross to Hamilton. It was around 9:20pm. I was on my way home from a job, in my work truck. AArrgghh. I have never seen another Buell when I'm actually riding. Of course I haven't been riding as much as I would like. Anyways, I couldn't tell if it was a 9 or a 12, it sounded good though. The rider had a white or a very light colored helmet on. |

There Was 2 more Buells besides my XB12R at Quaker Stake in Milford last night A cyclone tuber and a new Bueller on a 2008 Yellow XB12R I had a guy pull in beside me on a new triumph. He said he wanted to buy a Buell but when he asked the sales guy at Egate the reply was We just write them up so he took his $3,000 cash down he had in his pocket and went to a triumph dealer that answered his questions. No wonder they all have a hard time selling them. And here I am working in bike sales at the only HD Dealership in the Tristate that dosn't carry Buells. Next week if the weather holds out maybe a trip up to Jackass Flats for wed bike night. Anyone interested let me know I don't work Wed so I can head up early to avoid the traffic. |

I would love to get to a Bike night, but I work evenings and Saturdays Yeah the guys at Egate weren't to motivated at selling Buells when I went there 2 1/2 years ago. I also had some problems getting parts there. I've been going to Aces and Eights, great people up there. I've never had anything serviced by them, just got parts from them. Blitzen, Which HD dealership do you work at, HD in Fairfield or HD on Tennesse Ave? Those are the two that didn't have any Buell support. |

Saw a black lightning in downtown Lebanon Wed and waved... saw a white TT at the Y tonight. The place is positively *crawling* with Buells Blitzen, If you work where I think you work, you *used* to carry Buells. I tried to support the dealership, two sliced tires and one bent rotor later, I called uncle... Seems to be a good Harley shop though from what I have heard. |

I work at the HD Cincinnati on Tennessee ave. Great dealership, largest in tri state and great HD service but I have to go elsewhere to get parts. HD wont even send us parts because we are not a Buell dealership. So I have to ride 37 miles to Aces to get my parts. Someday maybe if enough people call and seriously ask for Buells we might get them. I sell a lot of bikes now and think I could sell more Buells than other Dealers do without selling less HD's since I actually know more about them than the average salesman in the area does. It wouldnt detract from the big twin sales but it would open up a whole new tupe of rider that likes a good sport touring ride. I have ridden harleys for 40 yrs and am on my 3rd Buell in six years. My worst experience was in Maine before I moved to Cincinnati. I went to a Buell dealer in Portland (Big Moose HD)where I had bought the XB. When I went to parts counter and asked for a set of gaskets to do fluid and filter change I said "I need gaskets for an XB12R" The counter guy replied " We dont sell parts for Kawasakies" Needless to say they never sold me anything again, I would ride an hour to Merideth NH to buy parts and get service. We did just take on the Apollo Chopper line at HD Cincinnati if your looking for a tricked out quality stretch chopper for a second bike to your Buell. So Buellers Stop in and say Hi when in the Tennessee Ave area. Ask for Allan I'm the silver haired crazy old guy that rides my Buell to work rain or shine and any day its not snowing or Ice on the roads.

Cool, I normally stop there to get my oil, instead of driving all the way out to Aces. I grew up in Norwood just a few blocks away from Cincy HD. I haven't seen your bolt there before do you not work on the weekends? |
