Left Hotel 8 a.m. arrived in Eastern Time at 8:30 (home). Wife and I had a great time. Good time to meet alot of you, not enough time to meet all. I was on the red XT. She was on the anniversary Street Glide. All total miles of trip was 1800. Did ride 2 up on the parade lap and took video. Hope to have it posted sometime. Passed Chevy truck with white trailer on Pa Turnpike..I think they were part of the celebration? Hope everyone makes it home safe. |

Arrived back at my shop around 9:00. Got everything unloaded and sent Alchemy on his 4 hour ride to home near Philly, PA. Had a great time. Everything was better than I expected, from the new friends made, friendships renewed/improved, to the rides, factory tour, tech seminars, Buell swag, parade lap at Road America to meeting with the Buell racers in their pits. One of my favorite highlights/memories was grinding the pegs on the Blast at the go cart track demo rides, THAT WAS FUN! Oh, can't forget the demo day at Blackhawk- OOOO WEEEEEE! The entire week was great fun! KUDO's to Laura and her gang of Homecoming Elves who worked so hard to pull this off without any flaws (that I saw). So when is Wisconsin going to fix those roads. Anywhere else, they would call them paths. Now I know why the TT and Ulys sell so well there. |

From us locals, I think i can extend a hearty thank you for making us proud to be Buellers! I'll be posting links shortly to my flickr account from today's and yesterday's races. Estok got 2nd(on Bilansky's backup bike) Danny Bilansky got 3rd in thunderbike, Paul James got 4th. Congrats to them. Bilanksy's "A" Bike was running for crap, he should have given that one to Estok So when is Wisconsin going to fix those roads LOL, fix? What's wrong with 'em? Don't like our tar snakes, and 'lil potholes? Good thing you guys didn't take my Holy Hill ride that my niece and I went on on Tuesday. THOSE were some bad roads. But my wife reminded me that you MAY have actually been on some of those roads, since Buell requested some routes to our more spirited rides. They may have used those for the "Adventure" rides. |

Left yesterday after the races at RA, I was the last one out. About halfway thru Iowa, stayed at a rest area for a couple of hours while it rained. I'm about a third of the way home and pretty bleary. Just finished a couple of Snickers bars and getting ready to mount up and hit it again. I've got beautiful weather for now, gotta take advantage of it. More later Z |

Great time everyone!! Glad bringing tons of tools helped. Saved at least two bikes! The S3 that had the broken motormount and the X1 with the leaking throttle body gaskets, and who knows who else! That's why I brought the tools, just in case! Anyhow, glad to meet all of you, some of you again! I guess next year I'll have to figure out another crazy hair cut besides a mohawk with M2 bleached into the back of my head! I have tons of pics to upload, but I have to edit them and convert them from RAW to JPEG, so give me some time. Thanks Buell for an awesome and well planned event! And, thanks Laura, Chad, and Kelly!!!! |

Ahh, Homecoming. My first and what a great adventure it was. Some good friends, some great rides, some trackday excitement, some interesting history revealed and an overall impressive and enriching event on many levels. Very well done Laura and Buell folks. Arrived home about 12:45 AM here in Eastern PA after trailering with Toona and XB9ER from the host hotel as far as Altoona, PA with the last 200 miles in the damp balmy darkness of the PA turnpike. The bike was running strong and the roads and traffic were moving freely. A great ending to a great trip. |

Lynn and I have returned to Colorado. I drove straight through and got home about mid-night. The trip was a great success and we enjoyed it a lot. Before Homecoming Lynn and I spent time with her parents in Fond du Lac, WI. Here is a pic by the lighthouse.
The best part about homecoming was meeting new friends that I have talked to on the BadWeb but never seen. It was great riding next to Ratbuell (Joe and Kim) to the factory. I am not sure what the hand in back pocket thing is but thought it was cute. Of course it is always great to see my good friend Murrae and his bad ass S3T.
Lynn test rode the Blast and had a great time, smiling the whole time. I rode the Uly and am hooked. What a great bike. Almost as great as the S2!
I gave Erik the Colorado Buell Riders (CBR) patch and got to meet Court, Dave and Jon. I had all sign my book as well as our very own 1313 who is as much a part as Buell history as anyone else and has my respect for all the miles he did on his S2.
I was happy for Zac and he was like a kid in a candy store, much like I was.
For those of you that are wondering the blue Blast is back in Colorado and I will get it to its owner soon.

21 hours, 1252 miles and I got home @ 4:15am. Missed my ferry in Long Island and had to drive back to NYC to get home in MA. One of the longest days of my life but well worth it!!! |

Josh, I saw the bowl, but did not put 2 and 2 together. My head was not quite in the game that day. Hopefully someone saw it and grabbed it. It was really great meeting someone else who had Shibas though. They were well behaved dogs. Sorry I didn't grab it. Toni |

Amber and I got back to CT at about 4:30 this afternoon. We got poured on for about ten minutes in eastern Pennsylvania, but other than that the trip was uneventful. FL to CT to WI to CT, with about 400 miscellaneous miles in Wisconsin made for about 3,500 miles in 13 days. Our butts are sore, and I think we'll stay off the bike for a few days... It was great to meet so many people from the board, and to see some folks that I'd met earlier at March Badness. And it was interesting how many people there were on BadWeb, probably about 75% or so. We didn't do every single activity over the four day event, and we were still pooped by the end. Test riding the 1125R was awesome, and I think that may be a garage-mate for the Uly soon... And it was neat to introduce Amber to the Buell cult. She was impressed, especially when she realized what a great group of people the riders and employees of Buell are. |

I gotta say, that was a great time of what I was there for. Got to meet some guys from here and put some faces with names...also got to ride to the Factory with Darth! ~~~>Chinashop We had a much more interesting ride BACK from the factory, but you'd already lit out by then, I think. Saturday Scott, my buddy Mike, and I tried to find a nice way up to Road America, largely to no avail. We were searching for this mystical county road "G" that we were told was a nice run through the forest up there but were completely unable to find it on the way up. We did manage to find it on the way back, but it was pretty disappointing from a technical standpoint. We found some other decent roads, though, and at least one road that WOULD have been fun if it weren't for all the damned rocks in all the corners (which made Scott take a run through the grass, I found out at the next stop). He still sounded a little jittery about it at Houlihan's later that night. LOL It was a great time - I'm going to have to make it out again sooner than the 7 years between my last couple visits. Maybe next time I'll bring the Firebolt and all those old geezers that did the track day can school me out on Road America. |

Glad to read as everyone returns home safe. It sure went fast as all fun events do. 25 years, and we were there to celebrate. I want to thank all at Buell and Laura for the great job too. Myself, I want to thank all of you for stopping in the pits to see all the racers, we DO appreciate it, believe me. (and we don't bite) Thanks to all that lent a hand , its the little things that make it happen. We spent our weekend there racing our Buells and when we have "our" crowd there the intensity goes up even more. There was so much great stuff to do, friends to see and new ones to make and so little time. So the pictures everyone posts is great to share all the events from the 25th. Thanks all! |

Just got home 30 minutes ago. I set "trip 2" to zero when I left RA Sunday evening. 1123.8 miles from RA to my garage - so close, had no idea. I thought that was cool. Nebraska has Really Nice rest-stops. Ducked in out of the rain and caught a couple of naps too. Better than the overpass I waited under, but IT had a full, double rainbow. Hope I didn't overload anybody, I WAS a kid in a candy store. Without a doubt, the most fun vacation I've ever had. Thanks everybody ! Z Pix, after I get at them... |
