I've been told by my local dealer (High Point Harley/Buell) that the narrow saddle bag lids for a 97-98 S3-T are obsolete. Is that so? I was under the impression that they are now a "vendor direct" item and it might take some time to get, but now I'm being told "they are gone". Is there a new part number we need to be looking under? I need a right side, narrow lid, in primer. Thanks for your help! |

>>>> narrow saddle bag lids for a 97-98 S3-T are obsolete. That is inaccurate information. There are tons of them in stock ready for shipment. It **may** be a function of a certain color not being ready as Steve paints a color at a time. If there are any problems Joe (see e-mail above) can get you taken care of pronto. |

Joe and Court, Thanks for your help! E-mail sent to Joe with the request! I knew that they were still around, but the part numbers must be different now. I hope you all had a great time at the homecoming. Sorry I missed it. The early ones were really a hoot. Sometimes almost a hundred bikes would show up! Times have changed! This is what I get for trying to make an M3T! Kevin |

Could this be a culprit of the renumbering that happened a few years back? What was 97-xxx is now OU812, and all they are looking at is that 97-xxx can't be had anymore? |

To all, Joe was dead on that if you take the -94 part number and put -97 after it you will get the correct part. It came in last week and it is a perfect match up. Thanks for everyones help and input! Kevin |
