I've seen a few different examples of paintjobs other members have done, and it really got me thinking about other colors. Instead of hijacking Rainman's thread even further, I thought I'd start a new thread. Now, I'm by no means fluent with Photoshop, but I think I get the idea across. Anyway, I'm trying to think of some colors that would compliment the blue frame. Any other ideas?

Interesting how colors reduce the size of the scoop. I think it helps balance the bike a lot by seperating the black trim on the scoop from the plastic into two smaller pieces vs one large piece. |

It would be interesting to see how it looks in those colors AND the scopes black. Would that combination make the scopes appear smaller? |

If they had left the frame charcoal, my bodywork would be yellow as I did to my XB12Ss.

How hard is it to change the frame color? I always loved the red body with white frame and rims combo. |

Doughnut there is a place that is on here that will take you bike apart and powder coat you bike and put it back together and not a bad price, I was talking to him about colors and sent me some samples but not sure I want to change the color. |

I think the colors are OK. I'm thinking some ghost flames may be a nice touch. Real fine flames but not a lot. Dreaming ........... I'll probly just leave it as is. |

Been thinking about paint too. Thanks Eagle for the specs. I think the yellow rocks!!! Waxes nostalgic with my previous XB9. I also think the scoops look better painted the same color as the bike. Let us know what you decide. I was looking online at decal kits too and purple decals with the black looks kinda cool too. I can't decide either..... |

I have been thinking of painting the tail blue with pearl white stars of the flag. Leaving the headlight fairing, tank and fender in black. Painting the flying tigers sharks teeth on the rads and red and white flames for the bottom fairing I have yet to get. |
