The 32nd Annual Ramapo 500 is rapidly approaching! In case you don't know, the Ramapo 500 is a two day road rally. Approximately 250 miles a day over every imaginable back road you can think of in New York, New England and occasionally into Pennsylvania with a camp out inbetween. Entry fee covers dinner Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning along with free camping at the halfway point. If you want a hotel/motel room, you're on your own (and at this stage of the game, good luck). This event is practically tailor made for Buells and I'm very surprised to see so few of them on this ride. I'll be there, so how many BadWebbers will join me?? http://www.ramapomc.org/RAMAPO08.pdf |

mmm that sounds fun... by back road do you mean paved or unpaved? I will have to put this on the bucket list of things to ride. |

"If you'd like to see more local Buellers, why haven't you attended a Headless Horseman Run? It'd be nice to see you there this year, the last weekend before Hallowe'en." Hey El Eventino Coordinator, Ever consider doing the ride on the Saturday? Folks could come in Friday night and if desired stay again Saturday night instead of a long day on a Sunday with a work load to follow the next day. Just an early thought |

We were gonna do that this past run... hell, let's do it! Only problem I used to think of was that that many contestan...er....participants ride in from as far away as Virginia and New Hampshire, and would have to take a Friday from work just to make a saturday AM post time comfortably. On the flip side, however, your idea makes good sense. I'll start a thread to collect opinions. |

Mine's only 13 years old. Mileage and vintage are sometimes far different from one another. |
