I told everyone at work that it will rain every weekend this summer because I just bought a new '07 XB12X. Seems to be coming true so far. |

Hey All ~ I have a brother who is a huge Buell enthusiast so, I thought I would join the site to learn a bit more about Buell's. So, "Hello" to everyone out there and ride safely! Michelle |

Been A Buell Rider for a year now. Frequently I visit this site for its wealth of knowledge. My local HD mechanics get lost working on my bike too often. I praise this site for understanding the common plight of Buell Riders . . . Harley Davidson customer service. Have a Great, Safe Summer |

Welcome Michelle! Lots of neat people and fun stories here. Where is your brother at, and do you know which Buell he rides? We always enjoy meeting new Buellers (and friends and family)... |

Hi There Reepicheep ~ Thanks for the welcome. My brother has several motorcycles. I think the Buell is 2000. He builds/rebuilds and restores all kinds of bikes (Harley's only!). I live in NJ (Hunterdon County) and I have 3 boys (7 yrs; 3 yrs & 18 months) that love motorcycles. So, between my brother and my 3 boys, I need to work on increasing my knowledge about motorcycles. (I know my boys will thank me one day!) |

Just bought a used 06 XB12Ss with a few mods. First bike since I rode dirt/enduro in my teens. Put some miles on it today, really great feel and sound with the drummer on there. New to the bike boards. Been around the SVT Cobra world and AR15 AK47 community for a long time, name comes from there. Dave

Hello, I took delivery on a 2008 Ulysses last Saturday. Another customer at the dealership mentioned the site to me. The information has been very helpful. I found out that the Uly seems to have the headlights aligned on the low side, and easiest way to adjust them. Thanks. |

I bought a 2002 blast 2 months ago and I am loving it. It's my first bike so I am a newbie to all this. A friend got my this real cool buell baseball hat that helps my 'helmet head' when getting off the bike. I am having a hard time finding other accessories. I would love a womans tshirt for starters. Any suggestions?} |

Hi there, Captain Slow from Peterborough, England here. Just bought my first Buell, a XB9SX City X, having promised myself a Harley or a Triumph before the end of my biking career, I was impressed by the XB range after a test ride locally. Really enjoying it except for the obligatory sprayed back in wet weather. Now researching commercially available alternatives to HD brand lubricants for primary case and main engine oil (swing arm). I hope to most of my own maintenance as the service charges here seem quite high compared even to HD. Any info welcome. |

Hi Guys I bought my new 08 12Ss in October last year after a life time of owning Japanese machines [plus the odd KTM and Cagiva thrown in] Would have bought one back in 03 but there was no dealer within a 1000 miles of where I live, which is Cairns in tropical far North Queensland Australia. We only got a local dealer mid 2008. After owning something like 27 bikes over 28 years, it is without doubt getting close to the top of the top five list |

Just a quick note to say Hi. Got a white '07 Blast in Nov. so I could get back into riding. Can't beat the gas mileage and it's something to pass onto the wife when she learns to ride. I also have an '85 900 Ninja that I just got running again but I'm looking at the XB12 and wanting one real bad.(only if the wife likes riding on her own) |

Hey all. I am new here, in fact just registered. I am also new to motorcycling, got my very first bike about 2 months ago, a Buell Blast. It is going great, it seemed like a very easy bike to learn on. In fact I already took my road test on it. I plan to ride it for a couple of years then upgrade. So yea, just wanted to stop here and say hello. Seems like a cool (Buell) message board, I'll hopefully be checkin it out a lot more. |

Hi fellow 1125R owners, (and Buellers at large!) I just registered and probably screwed it up royally when trying to post concerns under tech talk. I was interested in knowing how most of you felt about your new 1125R's in terms of overall satisfaction with the purchase, the bike itself, and, the dealership support you've been getting??? As I started to read through all your comments, it became clear that I'm not alone on many of my concerns...... I have pretty much the same issues going on with the bike that most everyone else is experiencing. Mine was built in February 08, and is plagued with problems ranging from annoying to downright frustrating. Having said all that, I'm still of the mindset that this is a unique bike and I'm not ready to give up on it. It's handling is very pleasing relative to the japanese super/hyper bikes I've ridden over the years. I hope the support for this machine gets better though. Anybody care to provide their direct thoughts on this? Thanks for a great and informative website! Tracy |

Hello, I am new to the site. Just wanted to say hello. For those Missouri members, I just bought John Calhoun's 1996 S2T. I also have a custom chopper I built using the motor out of my 2000 X1 Lightning. I have attached a picture of the chopper. Look forward to hearing from fellow Buellers!

Hello, all. New to this forum, Buell, and motorcycle ownership. I bought my '00 Blast 2 weeks ago, and went out today for my 4th practice ride (parking lot and side road in an industrial park - no public roads yet). I've logged about 4 hours on my 492cc thumper and am loving every minute on it. She's leaking oil out of the rocker gasket, but I've read on this site that this is typical of the stock paper gasket ... joy, my first repair already! Anyway, looks like this site is going to be a once-a-day visit for me, so thanks in advance to all the veterans for your help! |

Greetings from the land of cow pies and beer farts. been lurking, and learning, for awhile now, TONS of good stuff here. many thanks to those who wade thru the knee-deep boolsheet to give legit answers to legit questions. i love my 08 Ss, the only problem so far is the little yellow light comes on almost every time i ride it, and the only way to make it shut off is to add aprox. $15 worth of Premium to the tank. oh, and the perma-grin...which should be listed on the website as factory-installed standard equipment. well, time to add another layer to the callus on my ass...see you on the road - or at the pumps!! <hotrod, aka puffi |
