Very well done with the paint. I like the danger intake, adds a lot to it. |

This is my 2005 custom chopper built with a 2000 X1 motor on a Motorcycle Works frame. It was the cover bike on the Sept. 2006 issue of Bike Works magazine.

Nice bike, Jorg! Don't take it too personal when some of us on this board subject you to derisive and demeaning comments regarding the destruction of another perfectly good Buell for the sake of chopperdom. Me included - $hit happens. One of my best friends was editor of Bike Works for many years, including some of the earlier titles for the same mag. Here's a shot of my 'chopped up' 91 RS AL

Al, Thanks for the compliment. I couldn't stay away from the Buells in stock form either, so I bought a 1996 S2T. I love the bike! I will post pictures of it soon. Was the editor at Bike Works that you know Frank Kaisler? He is one of my Hamster brothers. By the way, very nice bike! Jorg |

Finally figured out how to get a decent version of my pic up - the last one I had to shrink down so that I could attach it and it looked bad in the end. This one is linked from my flickr account - let's see how we do this time :-)

Hey Jon, I'm about 15-20 minutes away from Hoboken. I'm from Maywood, which is about 10 minutes west of the GWB. |

Hey Sean, How do you like the buell luggage? What about quality to cost ratio? - seems kind of expensive but if it's really good stuff I might consider it because it fits the bike well. Thanks, Jon |

Hey Jon, I am surprised by the quality, and how much the four pieces actually fit on such a small bike. More than enough for a 4 or 5 day trip. The only thing I didn't like is the fit of the saddle bags. They are shaped to fit around the turn signals, however, the straps aren't long enough to position them perfectly, but it works. --Sean |

Hey Sean, Thanks for getting back to me! I may go for them then, I need something good that both fits my XB12R and looks decent (your bike looks great btw, love the red-black combo). Am I seeing a different exhaust in the first picture than I am in the second one? Jon |

Sean, What types of mirrors are those? What did you do with the old mirrors and how they will have a hole from when you took the old mirrors out? |

Those are CRG Lane Split mirrors, and when you buy them from Al at American Sport Bike, he gives you little plastic plugs to put in the factory mirror mounting holes. You can also find them at most hardware stores. --Sean |
