Hey, it washed a few bugs off my new jacket, and maybe helped with the break-in of it as well. I did manage to find a 12" deep puddle on the way home last night though at the end of an offramp onto "Q" with which the spray from the front tire as it parted the puddle managed to put the apex of the parted wave at the perfect point to properly start filling my left boot full of water. Apart from that and changing a taillight bulb at the shop it was a decent ride home You should have rode. Nice tour of the shop last night though. And I managed to ask an indirect question about an aspect of the XB that's been bugging me and got a somewhat sideways approval that I could probably get it done for a private non-race-licensed owner should I have to opportunity to get an XB or other variant bike in the somewhat near future. |

Is there a large group of Buellers in the Milwaukee area? I just bought my M2 a few weeks ago. I was just curious as to what you guys do in the BRAG club. I am in West Allis so I am pretty familure with Hals. |

Ken/Koz5150, Stop in and see Rick in sales on a slow day, or check the bulletin board there. BRAG meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at Hal's, get there a little before they close at 7pm and the meeting will start shortly after that. There's usually just a small core group of people who regularly show up at the meetings, with more showing up on food nights or tours of the speed shop. The organized rides will get anywhere from 2 to 20+ people on a Sunday morning. Loosely counted there are maybe 50-100 signed up members in the club I think (don't know the actual number currently), so there's a few of us around. Speaking of which, do you work in Germantown? There's a bike just like your's up the street from here in the late afternoons at a neighbor business. Oh well, gotta go. |

Mikej, No, I actually work in Glendale (third Shift). To tell you the truth I have never ridden this bike to work, nowhere secure to park it. I will have to swing into a meeting sometime, but would love going for a Sunday ride if one comes up before then. I have actually been into Hal's like 4 times and it seems that I have missed Rick every time. I am starting to think he is invisible...lol So how did you get all that stuff on your bike??? Koz5150 |

Gravity and cinch straps. Actually the pic in my profile is from when I rode to Seattle last year and dropped off an extra set of saddlebags to a friend up in MN. The bike actually handled very well all loaded down once I adjusted up the rear shock. Rick is off Thursdays I think, and is usually either out delivering bikes or mingling with or selling to the walk-in customers. He doesn't sit at his desk long, doesn't stand still long either. Shoot, half the times I've seen him there he's got a set of keys in his hands going to start up a bike. Have Rick put you on the e-mail distribution list if you want. Just drop a note off on his desk if he isn't there. |

Koz...I think there may be a ride this Sunday. Something was mentioned about riding out to the Kettle Moraine and then to some blues festival by Delafield. Keep looking here for any updates on that ride. Mennis |

ping, just checking if you were curious or if you needed transport for something. MikeJ (watching the S2 front rotor turn shades of orange today in the rain while I sit inside drying my socks and shoes) ("Why, yes, I ride in the rain, so?????" My response to the frequent questions everytime it rains.) (Everytime it rains I sing... pennies from heaven... ) (okay, I'll stop before they kick me out of the state for awhile, heh heh) |

Gotta wash behind the ears somehow right? Good news today!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 out of 3 advisors have found my 4th draft of my thesis acceptable. Now just waiting on number 3 to give the OK. Hopefully early next week. Man if number 3 doesn't say OK I'm gonna freak. P.S. When I have diploma in hand, there will be a monster bash at my place. Yeah I know I had one in May, but what the hell. |

Scratch that, Dennis has a plan already. Meet in Lake Geneva and go from there. "Matt/All....I'm still on for Sunday. There should be about 6 Brew City guys going. Why not meet at 10:30am at the Walmart in Lake Geneva (Hwy 12 & 50)? There is a lot behind the gas station that is usually empty. We can meet there. I'm only giving you 20 minutes to be late. I'm leaving after that so you're on your own!" |

Lake_Bueller, I'd be up for something, depends on how far west you're talking. I'm just across the river in Iowa. |
