Um, yep. That's the only reason my wife is letting me stay after the tech and factory portions of HC, to see the band. And to hang out in a bar (I did marry a very Irish redhead, after all....lol). |

Two red-headed Irish wives. Not at the same though. Took 10 years apart. Life is too short for wimpy women. |

Kim and I have only made it a hair over a year so far...but we've known each other for nearly 17 (I'm 35, she's 32). She hasn't killed/left me yet, lol. Jameson? Hm. I'm trying to find some 30 year old Laphroaig stateside. The 10 is tasty, the 15 is astounding...but the 30 is EU-only as far as I can tell.....sounds like we may have to have a lil' tasting one evening. The local shoppe has 20yr Macallan that I've been eyeing.... |

Now you guys are talking my language! For our 10 yr anniversary we renewed our vows at Edinburgh Castle and had dinner at the Scotch Malt Whiskey Society. They were having a tasting after wards so we stuck around for that. WOW! We got to sample 5 different single malts at cask strength. We took away a bottle of 15 yr old Highland Park and a pretty good buzz. What great time that was! Oh by the way, she is Irish and prefers Green Label Bushmills or Powers Irish Malt. Cheers and hope to see at the Boiler Room Thursday!! Michael |
