I'm slowly talking myself into selling my bike. I don't fully want to get rid of it but I am going back to school and I just don't ride it enough and I could use the money. If I get the right offer, I think I could let her go.  I know what the KBB value is but I would need more than that as an offer. I have somewhere around $3,000 invested but I don't expect to see all of that money back. This is a bad ass bike in top condition. It has somewhere between 8-9 thousand miles on it. I am not totally sure because it is in a garage right now a few miles from me. The only problems I can think of are: I need a new low beam headlight which I am replacing anyway There is some decel-poping with the Micron system which is typical but might worry an uninformed rider Following are upgrades done to the bike: Full Micron System with ceramic coated headers Remapped ECM (American Sportbike) Rerouted breather system to catch can/filter K&N Filter (I have the open airbox kit but I removed it because it was too damn loud) Front/Rear sliders & Frame Pucks Black Brake/Clutch Levers Bar end mirrors Block off plates at old mirror locations Black Windscreen Plastics coated in Line-X Brand New Michelin Pilot Power Wheels Brand New Buell Black Villan Rims I would also include a Pitbull rear bike stand and a Buell bag that mounts on the rear seat for storage. I also have all of the original removed parts (exhaust, levers, map key for ECM, etc.). I could also include a medium HJC helmet and Joe Rocket Textile jacket if the price is right. Why do people quote KBB for used bikes? It clearly states their price is what a dealer would charge for a used bike, taking into account their advertising costs, reconditioning, blah, blah. Look at the difference between NADA and KBB on used bike prices. If you don't really need/want to sell it, then don't, you'll just regret it. | ||

     obviously the pic of the blue bike is what it used to look like.... I can get any specific pictures you would want. It makes me sad to get rid of it but I need to. I need the dough for school and I really need to get something that handles two people better. I love this bike and it gets looks everywhere it goes. It is bad as with no bling...just like I want it. I hate having to clean my bike all of the time...I just want to ride it. As with all Buells it shreds the corners if you know what you are doing. It has a deep "throaty" sound and plenty of torque. I haven't been riding it much but each time I do I convince myself to keep it a little bit longer. I am just at a point in my life where it would be better for me to not have it. I have the title so it would be an easy transaction. Like I said above, it would include all the original stuff I still have and the key/software to reprogram the ECM to stock, the pitbull rear stand, a medium HJC helmet w/ 3 shields (I think the silver one might be a little scratched), a medium Joe Rocket textile jacket, the factory service manual and all owners manuals, a small Buell bag for storage that goes on the tail of the bike. Also, these tires are brand new...they have about 300 miles on them. The rims are also brand new...I got them with the tires. | ||
