i need to change my jets back to stock and i want to no if i gota take the hole carb out or is there an easy way to do it?? and what sizes do you recommend. i no stock is 200-42 but is there and better ones??? |

I don't think there is an easier way than taking the carb off, but taking the carb off isn't that hard. Maybe someone has a better idea... I'm curious myself. Why are you going back to the 'too lean already' pilot jet? |

well because the pervious owner lived in reno withc is 3000ft higher than where i live. and he got diffent jets put in for that. so now that im at ocean level i get alot of pop frm my carb witch isnt good. thats y. do u recommend that i just take it to a service shop?? |

At sea level, I'd recommend starting at #45 pilot jet. Some have had good results going even richer on the pilot. The main should be good at 200 (or lower, but be careful when you lean the main jet - keep an eye on the plug insulators). Baseline the idle mixture screw at 2 1/2 turns out and that should get you close if not perfect. |
