'o5 XB12Scg...running fine..pull up at my shop door, switch it off...come back in 5 minutes, got to start bike up and I got NO STARTER action..lights come on, gauges sweep, fuel pump activates, I just have no starter...Here's what I've checked so far, with no remedy..disassembled, cleaned, re-installed starter button, checked all fuses (all good), inspected all 3 relays under seat(no visible damage). Battery shows 12.9 volts, lights are superbright, so assume battery is OK has not indicated any lack of power in the past... what say ye men ??? what direction do I go from here??? BTW...got my bud to push start me, it fired right up..switched it off and tried re-start----NOTHING, sama symptoms as before.....HELP !! | ||

Check the clutch switch @ the lever And the kickstand switch underneath | ||

My Buell has no kickstand safety switch....I retraced my steps and found that the little return spring on engine start switch had collapsed.. I stretched it a wee bit, re-installed, and all is well!!! New spring on order, just in case. Lucky that I found that..something SO SIMPLE.... | ||
