But I wanted some type of crash protection after removing them. So I decided to try and make my own sliders. Here are a few pics of the prototypes fresh off my lathe. I might drill a few holes in the brackets to match the heel guards. I also still need to powdercoat them black. I will be making my axle sliders tomorrow night. I started vacation early yesterday when i got cut attending a machine.3 stitches right at the palm/thumb is making it tough to grip.
