Matt - Does that cover the hole also or is it just the license bracket? If that's the cover AND bracket, it's clean and a STEAL, even at 100 USD. I almost like it better than my setup. Z |

The kit includes everything you see here, including the blanking plate as far as I am aware. I will have one in my sticky little paws on Monday so will be able to confirm it, but I am 99% certain. |

Thurstonbuell - if it indeed includes the blanking plate to cover the giant hole, 110 USD is a steal. Robert(Rah7777777) wanted me to make some like mine, but they were too labor intensive to be practical. Without a sheet bender and an English wheel, I had to do everything manually. I'd have had to charge at least 300 USD to be worth my time and materials. The fit and finish look excellent Matt. I think you've got a winner there, even with the horrid exchange rate. Z |

Hey Trojan, do you mind if I install a link on my site (www.xblights.com) to your site for these? I'm in the middle of completely re-designing the site and the new version will have a links page. I will also have a link for Odie for the S models, but he doesnt do tails for the 1125. I seriously get about dozen emails monthly asking if I have "complete" kits for either the 1125 or the S models. If I had a link to share and head them in the right direction, i'm sure it would help out with them and with your sales :-) Thanks! and let me know! -Robert xblights@yahoo.com P.S. and if you wanted you could send over one of those kick-ass belt tensioners for the extra business.. |

Hi Guys, Just a quick update on the product. I received the first one today, and the quality of the kit is superb. It includes the blanking plate, again in CNC machined aluminium. It also comes with turn signal extension cables adn all necessary fittings, plus a full set of mounting instructions. Robert, a link would be excellent, thank you I'll send you a PM. |

Hey Trojan, So how thick is the aluminum? I've heard rumors of the thinner stuff being subject to cracks from the vibrations of the tail... Yours looks sturdy, what say you? =) |

So how thick is the aluminum? I've heard rumors of the thinner stuff being subject to cracks from the vibrations of the tail... Aluminium is around 3mm, which is plenty thick enough to deal with any vibration issues. These people have been making tail tidies for Ducati and other bikes for years, so I don't envisage any problems at all with them. |

Looks great to me. It's nice to see some vendors making products for the 1125r. I know Buells are a small market and many manufacturers don't deem it worth the time and effort. Hopefully companies that put out a quality product at a reasonable price will find it worth their time and effort to start producing Buell products. |

Got mine today! Sorry Matt, I ordered off of eBay before you announced that you would be selling them. Anyway, I thought you guys might like to see the kit before it was installed. Quality looks excellent. Of note the standard bracket is too narrow for US plates, but it does come with adapter brackets.

For a simple plug and play deal, i think this is an awesome value!! If you don't want to take the time to brainstorm some ideas and do it yourself, this is the way to go! Plus with this kit, you KNOW it will look good! I have to say you 1125R guys are making me sick! always doing cool stuff to your bikes! making me think, "man, that looks good. I sure would like that 6 speed as well." then I come home and tell the little lady I'm thinking about getting one and shit hits the fan!!! So thanks guys, for making me have a few unrestless nights here and there! just thanks!

I got mine via FedEx today! IIRC, I ordered last Friday! Pretty impressive! My first time doing business with Adrenaline-Moto. It was a totally satisfying experience. Now, if we could just get Matt to understand that ZTL2 brakes are superior to Brembo, all would be right with the world! (Message edited by doerman on July 01, 2008) |

You can do one of two things ... either drill holes in the plate. Or use the adapter brackets that comes with the tail tidy. I opted to use the adapter brackets, which requires no drilling and screw right in. Another nice thing about using the adapter brackets is it allowed me to move the plate as close as possible to the light, so it does not hang down quite as far. |
