Mr. Buell, Ladies and Gents, I'm about to head home from Iraq here in the next month (US Army) and like most here, have it all planned out here to get a motorcycle. I want to buy American, and I want to buy new - and having always have wanted a Buell, it's time. This will be the first brand new bike I've ever bought, first brand new vehicle for that matter. I wanted to know the chances of putting together something special like a factory tour, and something custom in the bikes details - something cosmetic, paint or otherwise. What are your thoughts? Is this possible? Thank you! Craig |

I know Buell doesn't build one-off customs at the factory, but there are certainly Buell dealers who can do so. As far as a tour is concerned, I know a number of owners have had tours, so I am guessing it is pretty likely you could get one. |

Can you actually buy a Buell directly from the factory? I think it'd be cool to purchase one fresh off of the line. Think it's possible? |

No you can not. It's been discussed in the past and there are lots of hurdles, legal and logistical. Now for the good news . . . . the folks at Buell, which include veterans from Iraq Tours, would love to have you visit and show you around. If you need help setting it up just drop me a note and I'd be pleased to get you all the information to arrange a visit. Court USMC |

Thanks. That's kind of a bummer, was hoping to do the whole thing in one shot. Take care, Craig |

Buy one at a local dealer (Hals, Uke's, House) and have them deliver it to East Troy for you, ready when the tour is done! |
