It looks like I'll be rolling north on the first of July...early...so that I can be there to socialize and be ready for the drag races. Anyone know if the same band that was there last time will be playing? Those guys were good (even if they weren't the Thunderbolts )! I am so looking forward to seeing everyone again! Even if I don't remember your face do not be offended, I still have trouble with that part of my memory (right Dana?) but it does not decrease the amount I enjoy connecting with you guys and girls at all! |

Brian, Don't worry about the memory thing. That's the cool thing I have about my two experiences with neuro-trauma: I have an excuse that sounds better than "I'm getting old." Besides, I haven't seen you since Autobahn about 3 years ago. |

Terri, Andrea and I will be arriving in Racine on Monday afternoon. We'd really enjoy meeting up with everyone for dinner. Where is the Mineshaft, and what time do you want to meet up? |

Hal's H-D/Buell’s “Welcome Event Celebrating Buell’s 25th” at Great Lakes Drag Way Hal's H-D/Buell and Brew City Thunder Bikes will host a ride to and a V.I.P. Welcome Event for Buell’s 25th Anniversary at Great Lakes Drag Way in Union Grove, WI on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008. Come into Hal's and register for $5.00. All those who register and ride with us from Hal's will get into the Drag Way for free (that's a savings of $12.00). The registration will cover a V.I.P. area at the track, food (yes, there will be Brats) and a drink (soda or water). If you have ever wanted to try drag racing this will be your chance. The Drag Way will have "Fun Runs" for $25. If you can't make it to Hal's but want to see the races that night, anyone coming to the track on a Buell will be given a reduced entrance fee. The ride will leave Hal's at around 4:00 p.m. but may be earlier depending on the route and the number of riders we have. If you are from out of the area, Hal's will be taking registration by phone. Please contact Bud Curtis at 262-814-8685 for registration and details. Let’s Go Racing! |

John, yup, we rode it... It's an awesome route. There are several somewhat busy intersection that we do have to pass thru. Like getting OUT of brookfield square, the corner of Greenfield/Calhoun, and the intersection of 83 and Hwy I. There was some MAJOR gravel on the corner of 120/Buell Dr. That is being taken care of by Buell. Word has it, Buell is sending a couple of factory riders down to the hotel to lead a ride down there. But they planned on slabbing it. Screw that, 43 sucks(buckboard HWY on a short wheelbase bike). But that's fine.... I'll stick to our route, and anyone who wants to follow us down there is more than welcome to join us. Brew City members that KNOW our route will try to stagger along the group, just in case we get split up. |

Dana, I have no idea. Yeah, that group ride will be leaving by 11AM. Not 11:30. Breakfast is just from 8AM to 11:30AM. The group ride will leave no later than 11:00AM to be down to the factory by Noon. Brew City's ride takes approximate 45 minutes. |

"Screw that, 43 sucks(buckboard HWY on a short wheelbase bike)." +100 I passed a kidney stone riding that beast. Dana, registration closed on June 11th, but I was told that nobody will be turned away. |

Ok!!! I got a question and I really need to know from as many here that are coming. Who is going to Summerfest and is planning on purchasing a concert ticket to see a concert while they are here ??? Summerfest is a huge gathering of Artists. |

I'd direct that to the staff at Buell. I see the badweb excel spreadsheet is showing less than 100 folks and Buell over 600. Asking the question here may produce misleading results. I have two rooms at the host hotel I am cancelling this Friday if anyone needs one, let me know. Dana, we **may** conduct a special ceremony at your place Wednesday night.

I thought we got tickets to Summerfest? Can anyone make a schedule of rides/events/dinners that may be planned here on BadWeb and not Buell events? If there even is any? (Message edited by brinnutz on June 24, 2008) |

You get tickets to Summerfest. What you don't get is tickets to see the Main stage bands. There is many stages of local and national talent to be seen free but big name bands like Petty,Steve Miller,Steve Wonder,STP,RUSH,ETC,ETC, you have to pay for. |
