Dude is a serious . You may run into problems registering this bike, but you are for sure going to be dealing with a dick with a big internet mouth. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&viewitem=&item=120273839991&_trksid=p2761.l 1259 I just asked some simple questions. HIM i took over the payments from my neighbor some years back, i never retitled it.my experience dealing with motorcycles people like to see an original title with 3 miles stamped on it.an ive keep the bike in my spare bedroom climate controlled room temp, all year round i refuse to keep it in the garage muggy ,damp 160 degrees in the summer.. ME (notice the question mark after my question) So then the title is not in your name and you can't legally sell the motorcycle? I think i'll pass. :^( I don't want any problems trying to register this bike. HIM theres nothing elegal being done here, no fraud or anything like that i have a bill of sale sign over to me!! an bank transaction records THAT SAY THE MOTORCYCLE IS MINE..so dont tell me what i can an cant do with my!! motorcycle GO WASTE SOME1 ELSES TIME ... I don't think I deserved that. I wish I lived a little closer to this clown. |

Incase anyone was thinking about bidding on this douche bags bike, this is the response I got from the Florida DMV. Thank you for your recent inquiry. The current owner must apply for title in his name before selling the motorcycle. We hope this information will assist you. 06/20/08 |

It might not be right, but you see vehicles sell like that all the time. Florida wants him to transfer registration for the taxes he will have to pay. I wouldn't have a problem buying a bike like that as long as the persons name that is on the title is also signed other places you need it on other paperwork. If not, Texas doesn't required notorized signatures. |

I wouldn't hand over cash to anyone who's name is not on the title. You will more than likely end up paying some extra fees because of this kid. Here's his final email to me. hey dick! regaurdless of what you come up with your not getting the bike .my nebor is here reading your emails laughing he thinks your a fag LOL. the winning bidder makes check payable to him since its under his name, he gives me cash.thats what friends do hes not a redneck like you .so post this up ,mr i cant get a bike cause i dont have ebay ethics.. I see he spelled fag right, that's about it. He spells like he only made it through the 3rd grade and then calls me a redneck? I relayed his last message to the winning bidder, that's what us rednecks do. (Message edited by moosestang on June 20, 2008) |

Here in Maryland, that's called "title jumping". Needless to say, the state frowns upon it. |

Ebay hasn't said dick to me. I'm sure they took one look at all the profanity in your replies to me (yes they can see those) and decided you were a douche bag coward and it wasn't worth their time. I was just trying to warn a fellow ebayer that you were an idiot. Atleast you learned how the Florida laws work. For the record, i never told anyone he was committing anything. I just wanted them to be informed. The kid is clearly immature and ignorant. |

reason for not titling it in his name: avoid the taxes and transfer fees. plain and simple. reason for not admitting it: ????? FWIW: I do not believe that the government should legally be able to tax a person on a vehicle every time it is sold. So I do get why. That is no reason to cop an attitude when someone questions it. Also, if you want to be taken seriously by adults proper spelling and grammar go a long way. "133t speak" does nothing for your credibility when conducting a business transaction. |

For the record is a common phrase, used when one person is claiming another person did something, which in fact, they never did. I thought buell owners were an older, more mature crowd? |

Just to let every one know I have an x1 in my garage that I can not get a title for do to this very thing I bought it from some one that didn’t sign it over to him self after he bought it. I even met the person that’s name was on the title but when I went to get it titled in my name there was an error on the tattle for some reason and the DMV said the previous owner was sent the paper work to get it straight well that was 4 years ago and now I have a bike for spare parts because I still don’t have a clear title I even got a lawyer and it got me know were do to the fact I didn’t get the bike from the guy the title said owned the bike the judge even said that he could take me to court and get the bike from me and there wouldn’t be much I could do about it. But then his friend would have trouble for selling it to me kind of like selling stolen property. Any way I would never buy any thing again from some one unless it was titled in there name first. I have been hoping to find a cheap frame with a title just so I can fix my problem since it’s the only option I have now and to keep trying to take people to court over the bike will cost me more then the bike is worth. |

What a f*ckin dick that guy is. I feel sorry for whoever bought that bike, someone's in for a real nightmare when they go to pick it up. I wonder if that retard actually talks like that in person? Seriously, what grade do you have to drop out of to talk like that, what 4th, 5th? It hurts my brain just trying to read that crap. |

yeah if he doesnt care at all about the honesty in the matter. why wouldnt he just lie on the title for the purchase amount? put like a couple hundred bucks and you pay very little in taxs at all. save everyone alot of trouble and worry. |
